Keeping up an impressive run of form that has seen recent releases from the likes of Funk Cartel, Alessandro Diruggiero, Tomi&Kesh, Copasetic, Italobros and, of course, label frontman wAFF himself, NATURE continues to thrive with its latest release as it prepares to welcome Tamango Records boss Yaya for his label debut with the groove-laden’ Me Gusta’ EP. 

The title cut kicks things off with chunky drum grooves, swinging analogue bass, catchy vocal chops and shuffled percussive drive accented by quirky sample shots, providing the first slice of Yaya’s unique sonic identity.

Phil Weeks is back at the controls of his trusty MPC, shovelling the pads, twisting the samples, and creating
fresh funk finesse on his new EP - 3000’s Groove. Dropping later this month, the three track EP showcases
Weeks’ signature blend of raw beats, funky samples, and timeless house grooves.
Leading the charge is ‘A New You’, with its shuffling drums, swinging rhythms, and filtered horns. ‘Ghetto Land’
follows, a laid-back groove tool rich in filters, before the EP wraps with an official DJ ‘tool’ ‘Come On Sugar.’ A
track that utilises a vocal and bassline that has moved dancefloors from 1982 to 1999 to 2024.
Weeks with the weapons once again… The only question is, which groove will you choose?
