Cosmic JD is a Colombian-born Producer and DJ based in Toronto, Canada. Highly regarded as a key player in the underground house and techno community both in the city and abroad. JD has received a quick notoriety with his records on Seekers, Subsequent, Melcure, Variable and his most recent on Varme. A talent behind the decks, in the studio, and behind the scenes, JD’s drive, skills and continued commitment to the underground make him an artist to keep watch on.

For our 4th original release we have a meeting of minds between two of our very close friends, Subb-an and Thoma Bulwer!

Made deep in the green countryside of Devon’s hills, before being adeptly finished off at TB Studios in Hackney Wick, the Devon Hills EP pulls together influences from 90’s tech house and early breaks to bring four driving and groove-laden tracks, functional but with heaps of soul.

The A side comprises two late night Autobahn bangers, rubbery misbehaved basslines and precise chord rhythms made to hypnotise the dance. Devon Hills is the most outspoken of the pair, with a loud chiming hook and an earwigging bleep melody, while DV-07 prefers to remain composed in its rolling bassline and sharp drum programming. 

On the flip things go a little deeper with DV8, a padded out and chunky tribal breakbeat track with a deliciously crunchy snare. Closing out the four-track EP, East Wick lightens the mood with a sporadic break and bouncy synth melody, great afters tackle.

After his first vinyl release on the Russian label Exarde and the debut wax of his own imprint Data Flow, Lewis drops three tracks showcasing his signature analog sound that's been turning heads in the European underground circuit.
This is only the beginning of a fruiting future alongside Lewis. We will let the music do the talking.

Capturing the spirit that underlies dance music in its various forms; the atmosphere of the early raves; the carefree attitude; the lack of prejudices both on the stage and on the dancefloor; the ecstatic moments shared with strangers from all walks of life, united together by the primordial force called the rhythm. Faciendo have been sharing this ethos with the world for many years, moved by the one and only endless energy which is the love for music. It comes then as the next natural step forward, the creation of a label through which to continue this mission.
 
For the first release, Scott Featherstone provides two original productions that pervade exactly by the same values and feelings that move Faciendo, carrying the zeitgeist of the early days of dance culture, untouched, into this millennium. This debut EP, “Vinaloop”, does exactly that, the title track is an energetic and upliftinging dance floor hammer, ode to the original summer of love with its positive and spiritual attitude. On the flip side finds the sublime and emotive “Lifeflows” another long lost gem found on DAT by Scott recently, it sounds like an early slice of electronic detroit soul, but true to Scotts energetic style, always with the right elements to move a dance floor. Completing the EP is a lush grooving remix from man of the moment Taylor Freels, aka Urulu and Liquid Earth.
