Legwork is back with a new single from our favourite cosmic crusader, Brother Nebula. 

The A-side consists of a tape-crushed lysergic stormer, on which the Brother helps us to be mindful, and a couple of useful DJ tools from the same session. The B-side starts with a broken affair with pensive chords floating around bleeps and sounds of the universe, and finishes with a dubbed-out version of the previously-released and extremely well-received S.I.S. featuring San Francisco stalwart Solar.

Brother Nebula - Brother Says Relax (LWK11)

The second Various Artists compilation on Undertone brings together eight producers from across the US. Each track contributes a distinct voice, from hypnotic grooves and atmospheric textures to harder-edged percussion and driving low-end. Together, they form a cohesive showcase of the label's direction: forward-thinking, floor-tested, and rooted in the raw energy of different flavors of techno.

Across its eight tracks, UTVA002 shifts between deep tension, sharp energy, and moments of release, reflecting the range of moods found in the late-night hours. It's a compilation that captures the individuality of each artist while highlighting the shared spirit that drives Undertone forward.

Review: Incoming…! 2020 saw Sports Records on the verge of relegation until we made some major mid-season transfers. New styles, personalities and genres come together on SVA02 to complete an all-star squad.

Up first on the A1 track, ‘Sensei Slicer’ aka Ruben Lombroso (1/2 of Shampoo Douglas) scores an absolute screamer with ‘Curling Sweepers Club’. 

The A2 features the return of Goiz under a new alias ‘Doctor Hotdog’, who just re-signed with the club following his success on the first release with his track ‘Ode to Korrupt FM’.

The A3 is covered by one of the club’s founding partners Clyde Corley aka Mr. Liquid. ‘Violence Is Not Legal’, the final track on the A-side, seeks to promote peaceful co-existence among the release and its supporters.

The B-side hat trick is headed by our dual threat up top, Alec Falconer and Harry Wills aka Snoozin’ B. Their B1 heavy hitter ‘Hot Take’ is a crowd favorite as it kickstarts a winning second half.

The B2 track by Masterplan is the match equalizer. The UKG legend splits the visitors’ defence and rams one home for what is sure to be a future fan favorite.

The B3 track is the second Mr. Liquid strike of the night, and is the match winning goal nonetheless.

After revealing some of the mystery tracks with their second release from the unknown producer △, third installation on Moscow’s record label Exarde is coming to you from Slovenia. Four compositions are crafted with a proper use of analogue gear such as well-known Roland’s drum machines with them grooves and a lovely fat «moogy» basslines. 

As the story goes, they were made right between the years 2018-2019 and has started just as a part of the first ever live act of the artist. After a few tweaks 3 scenes became separate tracks and began their journey to the vinyl, then with the addition of the one home jam recording — Nidark EP was complete for your listening pleasure.
