This mix encapsulates a vibe I’ve been presenting in my live sets. Intricate, varied drum patterns, melodies and harmonies playing off of each other, quick changes and surprises, and enough sub-bass to knock your kitten’s mittens off. This is a mixture of the deeper dubstep, garage, and trap I tend to play during opening sets, the wonky house and techno I go into late night, and a few of the chiller peak time tunes that still work well outside the club. Don’t get me wrong, this mix would be a dancefloor killer, but it still plays well while you’re walking around with a good pair of headphones.
