Wlack signs with Subsist Records a heterogeneous album, in which he exhibits a techno that could be defined in many ways, given the author’s ability to create different scenarios. Each track survives in its own ecosystem, in a specifically adapted environment, in which it does not need to depend on external resources.

Hall The Time is a versatile release, with 10 tracks that are distanced by their sound and at the same time similar in terms of linear patterns. Its structures vary minimally and the hypnotic effect soon takes hold of any mind. Wlack exposes his warlike character in different ways and with little room for respite, as he allies himself with forcefulness and intensity. ( Text by Industrial Complexx )

GIFKIKKER is a Brussels based collective and label that fuses roughness and bite with depth- and clarity. Decoder is an emergent Dallas producer whose 1st appearances arrived in 2021 with a trio of albums, including Dark Shape on Mills’ mighty Axis, followed by further full lengths & numerous EPs on respected imprints such as Holland’s Float, Detroit’s Blank Code, and untouchable techno tastemakers Delsin, plus his own Toca, co-run with NYC-based Jay York, whose similarly hyperactive productivity defines their alliance. Already known across the US thanks to Hawtin’s From Our Minds tour, his worldwide notice is sure to increase with each high-profile release. From Another Star harnesses the stargazing end of his already-alien sound sphere on Vinveli, five tracks of midtempo trips saturated in extraterrestrial atmosphere.  
Cycling bleeps in ‘Gasui’ serve to enforce stasis over motion as he elegantly assembles a dynamic orbital system, with gaseous, evaporating clouds brushed aside to reveal its insistently chugging inner works. Dense, dark, and unstable, ‘Drona’ voyages through the center of a freshly-exploded supernova nebula still expanding rapidly, with deadly detritus flashing past the viewscreens. A rippling, zapping lead carves its way through the center of ‘447’, continuously assuming unfamiliar shapes while rotating elements surrounding it create organic, evolving forms. ‘Standing’ displays the pulsating, eroded tones and sparse percussion touch that defines his style, its midrange a bath of reverb wash while subtle, changeable elements intertwine. Forward movement is almost an afterthought: this is music of drift, a broken warp drive stranded in deep space while anxiety builds throughout the crew. ‘Service’ ends on a more strident tone, an eight-minute epic whose rising momentum blasts its astronauts firmly past our solar system into unsettling isolation.

"We present a solid EP by Madrid-based Groof. This release sees Lotus Parable leaning into harder sounds, still with a deep and psychedelic signature. The tracks carry both emotional depth and the kind of energy that pulls you onto the dancefloor. We’ve seen it in action during our label night event series, connecting with the crowd at exactly the right moments. And the positive response is what inspired us to share it with you.

Explaining the process, Groof said: “This EP contains a series of tracks that I produced without a preconceived idea, concept or direction. Instead, I created music in a totally free way, for the listener to experience and interpret in their own way. There is just one exception – ‘Maar’ – a track dedicated to the surrealist artist Dora Maar, whose work and legacy deserve more recognition than she received in her time."
