Anodyne Industries is no stranger to Sub Slayers through his various collaborations and remixes, but now it’s time to properly introduce the Californian based neuro DnB star in all his full glory with his brand new In Memoriam EP. 

Inspired by a bereavement of one of his close friends, In Memoriam is a powerful and emotional EP that has its eye firmly on the dance floor. 

LH1013 starts the proceedings with a calm and melodic intro but don’t be fooled, when this beautifully crafted half time track drops, you will know about it. 

Reach Within Strike Out steps up next in full force. Intricate edits, surging subs and haunting pads are order of the day with relentless attitude. 

Finishing off this spectacular debut on Sub Slayers is She Breathes Moonlight, If you want a last tune to finish off the party in style then this is your choice. Devastating beats meet delicate vocals over a super charged sub makes this a pure end of night classic to leave them wanting more.

It’s been quite a year for our budding 22 year old Christian Hoffmann, AKA Toronto Is Broken. A debut LP Section Nine dropping at the start of the year and releases on Viper & Technique Recordings throughout the summer, you’d think that would be enough? Well it’s not, TiB’s not quite finished the year off just yet. Ladies & Gentlemen, introducing the first in a series on club focus singles from TiB: Way Down & Original.

Onto the music… Way Down, it’s certainly not something you’d expect to hear from TiB and it’s certainly a positive move into the dance floor banger arena. Hooky bleeps, marching beats and teeth shattering subs. This one’s got more funk than James Brown and more swagger than Jagger. Watch out for that second drop!

Original see’s TiB don his junglist cap for the vocal flex but the track is just outright Drum & Bass filth. The bassline on Original is all consuming and ready to destroy anything in it’s path.

First heard on Toronto’s Section Nine LP last January, Breathe Clear featuring Jodie Carnall gets the full VIP treatment, a classic finished to TiB’s start of the year.
