Well well well what do we have here? It’s the second sampler for Toronto Is Broken’s album Section Nine is what. 
Lead track Rekall featuring the vocal talents of BBK starts this multi tempo bass affair off with a twisted Glitch Hop meets NeuroFuckYourHeadUp 100BPM banger with tempo changes and devastating bass drops, this one is for the heads!
First up on remix duties Naiive who steps up the tempo to 172 in a NeuroDnB fashion, its eyes firmly on the dance floor this is one Drum and Bass journey you’ll want to travel again and again. 
Roughmath steps up next delivering a colossal Dubstep/Bass remix with intricate edits, piercing leads and sub heavy low end. 
No strangers to the Sub Slayers roster northern bass due 601 give it their finest in this 140 monster. Don’t be fooled by the uplifting intro – this one gets NASTY!
Finishing up back in Drum & Bass tempo INF1N1TE go all in switching between halftime beats with full on blistering rolllers at 174 – a perfect finale to this outstanding EP.

It’s been quite a year for our budding 22 year old Christian Hoffmann, AKA Toronto Is Broken. A debut LP Section Nine dropping at the start of the year and releases on Viper & Technique Recordings throughout the summer, you’d think that would be enough? Well it’s not, TiB’s not quite finished the year off just yet. Ladies & Gentlemen, introducing the first in a series on club focus singles from TiB: Way Down & Original.

Onto the music… Way Down, it’s certainly not something you’d expect to hear from TiB and it’s certainly a positive move into the dance floor banger arena. Hooky bleeps, marching beats and teeth shattering subs. This one’s got more funk than James Brown and more swagger than Jagger. Watch out for that second drop!

Original see’s TiB don his junglist cap for the vocal flex but the track is just outright Drum & Bass filth. The bassline on Original is all consuming and ready to destroy anything in it’s path.
