Music, for yung Soular, had always been of high interest since a young age. Growing up in the East Coast, his influences were from genre's Trip-Hop/Downtempo, Breakbeat, Trance, Acid-Funk, UK/Grime & Dub and Rap/Hip-Hop. Artist's from the likes of Massive Attack, BT, Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, Gabriel & Dresden, Above & Beyond, The Prodigy, Crystal Method, Virus Syndicate, Plastician, Gorillaz, Beastie Boys and Eminem/Dr. Dre. 

Subby realized music gave higher states of consciousness in the right set and setting. At a young age, he discovered the DAW FL Studio, which began the long road of understanding music design. After graduating in 2006, he moved to Dallas/Fort Worth where he fully immersed himself in the scene and went by the persona "gWorm". Two years later, he started DJ'ing House Music and in 2010 landed a gig at the world famous Lizard Lounge in Dallas, Texas. He then took on dubstep & fried chicken with AFK and ran a blog in Dallas showcasing local Electro/House/Dubstep talent, and other new music in the BASS scene. In 2013, he left Dallas and paused his career in music. Fast forward to 2023, SubSoular is here, looking to push the boundaries in sound design, while providing unique mixes & live experiences that put you in the flow.

The persona SubSoular is a metaphor for the point at which music fully immerses, aligns and reaches your soul. 
Where time disappears, and pure ecstatic bliss ensues, leaving all your cosmic baggage behind.
