Since the group’s first live appearance in 2016, they’ve been able to captivate the international dubstep community with releases on Duploc, Artikal, Chestplate, Deep Dark & Dangerous, Next Level, 1985, and Gourmet Beats. One of your favorite dubstep producer's favorite producers and recent Portland transplant by way of the UK, Combine has stepped up and delivered and absolute sheller of a mix for episode 137 of the Sublimix. You've most likely already heard his tunes in clubs and at festivals across the US for the last year or so and shouted for an ID on the track, now you can put a face and sound to the name. You can expect to see this name regularly in the future with a slew of upcoming releases for some of his debut 140 productions. Make sure to dive into his DnB catalogue as well!

Originally from the UK and now based in Portland, Combine is an emerging force in the bass music scene. With a background in dark drum & bass, he blends a techstep palette with the rhythms of old school Dubstep to create a sound that's both fresh and familiar.

With music on the way from labels like Deep Dark & Dangerous, UKF, Deadbeats, Silent Motion, and Ziel Sounds, Combine is all about pushing boundaries and exploring new sonic territory. This mix kicks off deep, then ramps up into an aggressive ride that showcases his signature style.

Mucky Update is a Costa Rican duo who solely focus on music production. Their artist name perfectly defines their main intentions within their music. Updating the dubstep scene with mucky melting basslines and drumkits, storytelling of current technological developments which are constantly changing society into an Orwellian nightmare including sci-fi phenomena.

Their release's with Deep Medi ft Logan and Deep Dark and Dangerous in collaboration with the Don, Youngsta, was a true strong statement from Mucky Update to honor and enrich the dubstep culture all the way from classic dub to futuristic sound design.
