This is our premiere of Swarm Intelligence’s track ”Inciter” from the upcoming release “The Shattered Self” on SUBVERTED 

”Fierce and forlorn, Swarm Intelligence’s “The Shattered Self” delves into the complexities of human existence in an era dominated by technological advancements. In this thought-provoking exploration, the artist challenges listeners to confront the consequences of a near future where physical and mental augmentation are commonplace. In a world where limbs can be upgraded, where consciousness can be uploaded, where memories can be digitally archived and shared on social media, where our AI clones can liberate us from menial tasks... What remains of our selves? Who is our self? 

Swarm Intelligence draws influences from black metal, industrial-tinged dub and post rock, splicing these with his distinctive take on techno to devastating effect. "Dejected," the inaugural track, unleashes grinding walls of feedback against a relentless broken beat, its foreboding atmosphere heightened by a menacing low growl of distorted bass that permeates the unease. It's a disquieting overture that sets the stage for the tumultuous journey ahead. ”

Kardinal Bertram originates from the DIY techno scene of his hometown Aalborg, but he has called Copenhagen home since 2016.
With a love for creating contrasts between stomping industrial techno, hypnotizing melodies, and rolling Schranz grooves - the sound and feel of a Kardinal Bertram set is a force to be reckoned with.

Since relocating to Copenhagen Bertram has been playing frequently in the clubs Hangaren, Module, and Culture Box. Besides DJing and music production, Bertram is also the organizer and booker of the New Game+ club nights and doing events as co-founder of the Tunghør collective.

This is our premiere of Adriano Canzian’s remix of Ethan Fawke’s track ”Dancefloor EBM” from the upcoming EP ”Dancefloor EBM with Remixes” to be released on Still Distant Records

"Ethan Fawkes brings us Still Distant Records 15th EP. Dancefloor EBM is an EBM hit that gives us an energetic dance floor sensation. This is a special vinyl release from Ethan Fawkes who produces the original track. The EP comes with three remixes, one from Italian legend Adriano Canzian who has been producing since 2003, he gives us his rusty baseline on a journey of 7 mins on top of the original. Second side of the goes a bit harder, Colombian industrial EBM producer Delectro is third on the vinyl gives us a driving force through his version of the track. Last track comes from label owner, Paulitical who has released three Eps and a few singles on the label. He gives us a driving 135 bpm version of the track bringing in a few different synths of his own. All tracks on the release have a sound of their own capturing a sound somewhere between post punk, EBM and techno."
