'The set recorded for MWTG is a form of personal storytelling. A sonic journey that is a combination of rhythmic pulses, deep bass and intense, hypnotizing melodies. The inspiration for the creation of this set was the work of artists who are my creative foundation and the source of constant development'.

With a deep passion for music, she started her hypnotic techno journey in 2023 with her debut performance at the @velvetvortexx night, at Ciało club in Wrocław. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Luigi Tozzi, Ignez, Rene Wise and Claudio PRC, she actively experiments and gains experience, constantly pushing the boundaries of her creativity. Being part of the Velvet Vortex collective and community highlights her passion for creating and supporting authentic artistic experiences.

A true driving force both within and beyond the South-American techno ecosystem, Zisko graces us with two hours of clinically laid down big-room punch and genre-unbound, off-kilter rhythms on steroid. Championing a sound both highly intense and surgically precise, the Argentinian DJ and producer has us surfing a rogue wave of frenzied analogue funk, sci-fi-informed industrial pound and proto-electroid impulsions. Not one for the faint-hearted, Zisko’s mix is galloping techno at its most eruptively driving and merciless, bound for heavy-duty, mid-set apexes and hi-impact mosh pits down the basement. Total smasher beware, this one’s cut from the heaviest alloy.

Berlin-based DJ, producer and curator, Mareena is renowned for her dynamic presence in the global electronic music scene. Her journey began in East Germany, but her moving to Berlin in 2004 represented a pivotal step which ultimately led her to achieve a residency at the iconic Tresor club.

Her DJ sets are characterized by rhythmic, non-linear beats that create an unrelenting flow of energy on the dancefloor, blending elements of dub techno and early 2000s productions. Mareena's credibility and authenticity, paired with her daring style, have established her as a key figure in contemporary electronic music culture, embodying an attitude that carries the spirit of music forward.

✈ To celebrate this new episode, we are proud and delighted to welcome Berlin-based DJ & producer : KWARTZ (Pole Group / SK_Eleven).

Kwartz is the stage name of Mario Campos, born in Madrid in 1989 and now based in Berlin.

In late 2011 and after publishing several EP’s in different international labels, Kwartz's productions began to draw the attention of the leading names in the international scene, so in 2013 Exium released a split EP with him called Fenomen, which was his first release on vinyl.

In late 2013 Kwartz joined PoleGroup and became part of the booking roster of the label commanded by Oscar Mulero, where he began to release his works regularly. In addition to PoleGroup, his tracks have appeared in several of the most important international labels, such as 47 (Tommy Four Seven’s label), Mord Records, Semantica, Horo or Warm Up Recordings.

2016 brings the launch of his own label: Order&Devotion, where he will release those of his works which move between dark atmospheres and deep and visceral sounds, all surrounded by rhythms designed for the dance floor.

His sets could be described with three words: raw, mental and groovy, in which he pushes the dancefloor to a constantly state of tension.

PARADOX PODCAST #189 -- KWARTZ

Bringing galactic sounds - a journey told in multiple parts. This mix revisits moments in time from the past years, a time of musical (re?-)discovery for me. Starting from scratch again, I asked myself: what do I feel? The photo on the artwork is of a place I very often go to reflect. I’ve been through many phases in this place, the energy of that place has shaped this mix. Peace and chaos. I built the mix in sections. The introduction is a live piece, created with my modular system. From there, it flows into dynamic, organic sounds. This mix is meant as a listening experience, not something made with the dance floor in mind.

JARTYM decisively prefers traditional, analog media, such as vinyl. Alternatively vinyl/DVS plus KP3 - that is all. He started playing at parties in early 2002 - during that time JARTYM organized and co-organized a lot of underground techno events.
