Sounds from Beyond the Seven Lands is a boundary-pushing compilation uniting 16 visionary Hungarian techno producers, each shaping the local underground through their own distinct sonic lens. The title takes inspiration from Hungarian folklore, where “beyond the seven lands” evokes a gateway into tales of wonder and mystery, a fitting metaphor for the immersive soundscapes unfolding here.

From hypnotic grooves and driving rhythms to raw, textured explorations, this V/A highlights the diversity and vitality of Hungary’s underground. Each track feels like a passage through unseen terrains, bound together by a shared spirit of innovation and cultural resonance.

Balrog is a hard-hitting industrial techno producer and DJ from the UK.

Hailing from the Yorkshire Dales just outside of Leeds, Balrog has supplanted himself in the darker and grittier side of the genre with a focus on heavy unrelenting drums, driving bass and obscure distorted vocals.

Still in his early twenties, he has already had multiple releases on labels including Archivio 01, Arcane, Gobsmacked and Otomo Trax.

His debut single on Arcane Records "Creep" was featured as clubbersguidenewyork top tracks of 2018!

With a host of new releases in the pipeline for 2019 & 2020 the future looks bright for this young British prospect.

Disruptor number 010 hails from the collective that has inspired and disrupted our scene.

After getting off to a strong start last year following the creation of Voight-Kampff, Whitley and his collective have been causing a ruckus around Scotland, and have found themselves heavily involved with Jaded, most recently throwing their first 2-room take over. 

Whitley takes most of his inspiration from the old school, percussive, drum driven techno sound coming from labels like Downwards and Tresor; as well as holding and taking a huge amount of interest in more recent Scandinavian techno and electronic music as a whole.
