Substrata dives into the depths with its debut release, Fluctuations, an immersive VA featuring its residents @stellarephere, @icyoustone, and @k00x, alongside their guest, @corsenlive. Inspired by the unfathomable mysteries of the abyss, this opus explores the dimensions of techno that define the label: introspective, organic, and textured.

Corsen sets the tone for this odyssey with 'Late Walk', a luminous tribal dance evoking the shimmering movements of the water’s surface. With 'Submerge', Ic Youstone leads us into deeper, more introspective waters, where every note invites quiet contemplation. The journey intensifies with 'Abîme' by k00x, driven by a powerful dub bassline, before veering into 'Undulations' by Obsidian Rift (Ephere and Ic Youstone new moniker), blending trance-like echoes with a liquid, pulsating energy. Finally, Ephere's 'Bathyscaphe' concludes the exploration on a poignant note: a dense, organic soundscape elevated by an emotional guitar line that emerges like a ray of light in the darkness, marking the climax of this sonic voyage.

Released for the Winter Solstice 2024, a time of celebration, transformation, and renewal.
