Deepersense Music goes once again to Australia to bring you the best sounds coming straight from this beautiful continent! This time Perth based producer and DJ Clinton Stibbs alias 'SubstrateC' delivers an EP with two excellent productions. Clint strives to produce underground music away from the masses. Being born too late to experience the "Golden Era" he aims to revive its classic progressive sound that he thinks has been lost in today's mainstream music. 'Substrate C' as a creative alter ego draws a line between Clint's music and aspects of his personal life. 'Substrate' meaning 'a raw underlying substance or layer' or 'an organic material of which an organism can live and grow' signifies the deep, atmospheric, underground sound Clint produces. It also creates a connection to the small rural town in the Adelaide plains he was born and raised in.'C' simply stands for his first name 'Clint' but can also be heard as 'sea', together with 'Sub' ties to his former roles as an Electronics Technician in the marine environment. His occupation makes Clint understand the fundamentals of electronic music profoundly, you can definitely hear it in his precisely crafted sounds!
