With the song “Licentiousness" Subterfuge explore their 90s roots in a Shoegaze fashion, adding to a Morricone composition and Kate Bush vocals by Swedish artist New Found Land. In contrast to the earlier singles, the album’s opener and focus track emphasises its darker, also psychedelic side that carries through the entire recording.
