Another release, another artist in our Kooky family. Minube is a DJ and producer from Moldovia, an artist that needs no introduction due to lots of exceptional releases on top interesting labels and hours spent spinning music on the best clubs of Moldovia and Serbia. Through this EP Minube takes us straight to the dance floor. 2 original tracks by the Moldovian are quite raw, yet very dynamic and well-crafted. The other tracks (collabos with Andrey Djackonda and Osvit) show slightly different shades of minimal, but are also intriguing in terms of sound design and structures. The EP is quite diverse musically and it's up to a DJ which track to spin in a club, but it's a definitely release not to be missed in the months to come and more.

As a thank you for helping me reach 10K followers on the gram, I’m sharing music and memories; gifts from the journey so far.

This is my way of expressing gratitude and giving something back: unreleased tracks, shared moments, and stories from the dancefloors, studios, and friendships that shaped it all.

It’s a reminder of how much we’ve built together through sound...

Andrei and I first met when my friends and I invited him to play a boat party in Rijeka, Croatia. From that moment, we welcomed him into our little crew Ana, Bronski, Herya, and I have all been longtime lovers of his music. Since then, our connection has been one of quiet trust, deep admiration, and a shared understanding that only music can explain.

Some of my favorite memories are from his studio. Before the club, after the club, it was always a stopover I looked forward to. He’d play these intricate, beautiful tracks he’d made that day, and we'd just sit in that space of sound and catch up over lost time.

This unreleased 10-minute track he shared with me feels like those exact moments. Warm, detailed, and full of life. It’s an honor to share it with you all as the first piece in this 10K celebration.

ON THEIR RETURN TO DESOLAT BARCELONA BASED MUSICIANS PULSHAR DELIVER A DELICIOUSLY DEEP AND TRIPPY EP

Following on from 2010’s critically acclaimed album ‘Inside’, Spanish duo Sergio S Vidal and Pablo Bolívar aka Pulshar return to Desolat with the ‘Different Drum EP’, and all four tracks showcase the deeply hypnotic yet richly soulful sounds which the duo are synonymous with.

Opener ‘Wasting Time’ is a collaboration with Desolat label head Loco Dice. The track, which was creating during a jam session between these friends, is a deep and twisted journey, with ocean-deep sub-bass, and features Loco Dice’s own distorted vocals which echo in and out of the music.

On ‘So Tired’, Pulshar have expertly crafted a captivating rich soundscape packed full of warm textures and atmospheres. ‘Different Drum’ is a similarly engaging and uplifting track complete with soaring synths and crisp drums.

The 12” is rounded up by the standout ‘She’s Got A Ticket’, with its infectious groove, rich sounds and contagious vocal layered over its psychedelic rhythm.
