Groove Culture 004 features Bangalore-based DJ & Producer, STGNT, serving up some mind-bending techno! 👽

Working across a spectrum of boundless, crisp and functional techno STGNT has reinvented himself as an accomplished underground exponent. Taking a paradoxical path of embracing imperfections and atonalities of sound which the average listener may discern as stagnant is the wisecrack behind his persona.

Always inventive and obsessive with his creative process, he’s been around the block since 2011 and has cultivated an abundance of experience. STGNT’s performances emphasise his abilities of building long trajectories of suspense in his DJ sets. His talent for telling a gradually shifting story engulfed in a galvanising soundscape is apparent as he demonstrates a complete command over his audience leading them into a stroboscopic mist.

Groove Culture 005 features Bangalore-based DJ & Producer, Vishal Unni, dishing out some eargasmic techno for the soul! 🤌 

Vishal Unni begun his career as a DJ/Producer three years ago and in a short span of time he’s already shared the stage with heavyweights like Mateo and Spirit, as well as opened for the legendary artist, Basshunter by winning a DJ competition. His primary influences come from artists like, Boris Brejcha, Maksim Dark, Kohra and SHFT. His sounds can be described as a marriage of the more melodic side of Progressive House and Techno in terms of musicality and structure, with dark pulsating bass lines and rich psychedelic influences. In terms of energy his sets jump back and forth between darker and brighter sound stages, creating a continual wave of movement throughout.

Shreyas_

Shreyas begun his career in early 2011 in Bangalore (India), with over half a decade of experience behind him, his undying passion for music resonates through his DJ sets which string together hypnotic, deep and atmospheric tonalities with darker and more musically inclined melodic phrases, stitched together to form a journey of its own.
From sharing the decks with Jody Wisternoff, Nick Warren, Brian Cid, Grum, Bart Skils, Growling Mad Scientist (GMS), Parra For Cuva, Tobias, Raxon, Yotto DAVI, Chymera, Barnt, Undercatt, Eric Volta, Nick Devon, Darlin Epsilon, Nils Hoffmann, Cid Inc amongst others.
Shreyas has made club/ festival appearances in Sri Lanka, Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Shillong and Goa.

Mental Machine

Mental Machine aka Shruthdev Patel hails from Bangalore, India & his musical journey is driven by curiosity and no small measure of pure passion. Regularly venturing off beaten track, he finds and incorporates sparks of inspiration from little-known gems.
Mental Machine is just a reflection of his persona, but only in context to the music! Having been active since 2012, he’s explored a gamut of sounds from early classic house, breakbeats, electro and recently hypnotic techno.
With impeccable taste and crate digging skills, he has played across many cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Goa etc. His sets are an intricate blend of interesting rhythms, deep bass lines and harmony with an eerie & mysterious ambience. 
Having shared the stage with the likes of Victor Ruiz, Fathia, Tom Trago, La Fleur, Brian Cid, Mathame, Nastia, Oliver Huntemann, Balthazar & Jackrock, Blazej Malinowski, Indira Paganatto, Patrice Baumel etc, Mental Machine shows no sign of slowing down.
