Subtle Planes || Ark Car || Burning Man: Waking Dreams

On November 29, I had the chance to play at Paradise Dystopia: Feral & Free, a night curated by the Higher Education crew at The Beaumont Studios in Vancouver.

This set blends melodic house, tech house, and afro house, inspired by the darker, dystopian energy of the event. With the crowd fully immersed in the post-apocalyptic vibe, the space had a raw intensity that made it feel like anything could happen!

Subtle Planes @ Paradise Dystopia ––– Vancouver

Sometimes you have to work hard to create something beautiful.
Other times, the universe strikes you with inspiration, and creative expression flows effortlessly.

This mix was one of those moments for me, when everything came together from seemingly out of nowhere and left me feeling more alive, open, and connected.

Mystical Union is the tale of an encounter with the infinite. This set is an offering to the sun, the sky, the earth, and the stars, our timeless companions who remind us each day of what we are, and what we have always been.

The wisdom and teachings of the Blackfeet Nation have been a source of deep inspiration for me lately, and it’s through their guidance and love that this creation found its way into form.

Awakening the Senses

Sentient Beings

In the mystical experience we know that we are one, a single drop in the cosmic ocean. Only our ego keeps us feeling separate. Ego, the sense of being "I" as apart from "you" is the real barrier to fully experiencing love. The more solid the ego, the more difficult it is to unite. In union, no one is there. Love only emerges out of the void where there is no "I" and no "Other."
