This is the 6th iteration of a little something I've been working on. Not mixed or mastered, just a work in progress that I decided to share. Best listened to through headphones so you can hear the panning effects. Pretty sure the gains on all the strings have to be adjusted for a more balanced sound along with 100 other tweaks. Enjoy.

Creepy Space Vibes V6

What started out as "Creepy Space Vibes" morphed into Heartbreak & Hope. Is it House, Trance, Prog House or Prog Trance, I don't know, it seems to be all of those and none of them at the same time. It is what it is, 4 on the floor beats with layered melodic structures and floating piano progressions over low end bass drops. Please keep in mind this is a raw cut of this track, it has not been professionally leveled, mixed or mastered. Everything in this track is original and written and produced by Subtraktion, save for the James Brown vocal stabs which are lifted from the Lyn Collins song "Think (About it)". Best listened to in headphones that can handle low end frequencies or a PC speaker setup or Home audio that can handle the same thing. A track about the lows of heartbreak and the highs that come with the hope for a better tomorrow.

Heartbreak & Hope (Housified Mix) Ver 12

A progressive up-tempo D&B track with layered with multiple percussion loops, chirpy tambos and some heavy low-end bass lines and modulated bass drops. Fans of older comedy movies may recognize the vocal sample I used. Enjoy.

Mutually Assured Deconstruction

Big bouncy acid breaks with some bongo/congo action and nice squelchy bass lines. Enjoy.

Gritty basslines with a funky break beat structure. 

Funkin' Stompin'

House-like Breaks track with a multi-octave repeating synth bassline and heavy live drum fills and a few vox samples.

Rough Times

This is a remix of M17's old school breaks track "Rockin' Down The House" from 1991. Beefed up with some extra percussion loops and a seriously ragga/dancehall inspired breakdown. Enjoy it!

A Remix of an old school track, old school beat structure with a bit of gritty bassline chopped into an old school groove. Kind of on the longish side time-wise, but a fun track that'll move a crowd.

Basspig

A remix of Rollin' Gear's 90's track "I, I know", vamped up in a funky breaks style with a bit more heavy, pounding, funky breaks structure. Just wanted to have a funky breaks version of this so I cut the samples and threw it all together one day.

You Got To Know

This track is a blend of 2 old 80's UK club tracks. It features in the opening a super-talented hip-hop lyricist "Dayo". Enjoy it, there are some really good drum loop edits during the bridge section. Enjoy!

Stay Away (Dayo's Lyrical Miracle Extension)

A remix of 2 Bad Mice's timeless classic "Bomb Scare". A fairly simple and straight forward remix with some slice editing on the original synth sample and some housey-breaks beat structure. Enjoy!

Droppin' Bombs

This is to date the only hip-hop track I have done collaboration work on. The lyrics are written and vocalized by "Dayo". The track contains an old piano sample from a Cat Stevens track. Hip-Hop lyrics with a funky breaks 90's feel kind of structure. Enjoy!
