Recently he release EP on Paula Temple's label Noise Manifesto His concept EP, Breaking Barriers, is a poignant emotional journey that explores the struggles of refugees and their fight for a better future. Each track vividly captures a particular experience and culminates in a call to action against oppression, war, and nationalism. Breaking Barriers inspires listeners to create positive change and break free from the barriers of the prison we are all in.

Bio : Hailing from France, Sheytan is a techno artist renowned for her distinctive, gritty sound influenced by early 2000s club culture and a spectrum of festivals encompassing techno, EBM, and industrial. Sheytan embarked on her DJ journey as a member of a local collective, refining her craft and shaping her unique style. It was during this time that she honed her skills and developed her sound, which would later become her signature style. Her performances were electric and garnered attention from music enthusiasts across the globe, quickly propelling her to prominence and making her one of the most sought-after DJs in the scene.

Sheytan continued to push the boundaries of her sound and decided to take her talents to new heights. She co-founded the Serious Society in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where she currently holds a residency at the esteemed Under9 club. Sheytan’s sets at Under9 have been nothing short of legendary, showcasing her exceptional ability to connect with the audience. 
In addition to her accomplishments in Malaysia, Sheytan has performed on stages in Vietnam, Bali, Thailand, and Singapore. Co-founding the Serious Society in Kuala Lumpur was a pivotal moment in her career, and she continues to hold a residency at the esteemed Under9 club, where her performances have left an enduring impression. We are proud to present to you a relentless mix from none other than Mekanikal Bloodshed's co-founder, Ma Čka. Since the Parisian made her Ismus debut back in summer 2019, for our event with the infamous London crew Jaded, we have wondered when we will see her again and the time is now. 

She has delivered just under an hour of full power techno with heavy industrial themes running throughout. If you haven't had a chance to check her or Mekanikal Bloodshed then we highly recommend that you do so, expect a much tougher sound.

We curate queer sex-positive parties with equally queer line-ups, featuring mostly non-binary and trans DJs. Our aim is to platform artists with gender identities that are under-represented in the music industry, showing that it is possible to have more inclusive and diverse booking practices without a decrease in musical quality, but in fact with an increase by bringing new and previously unheard perspectives to the dance floor.

Discovering and nurturing new talent is at the very essence of SUBVERTED. We stand in resistance to the homogenisation and sanitisation to which the techno industry has been subjected in recent years via formulaic, easily-digested productions and repetitive line-ups, and intend to continue opening the industry's gates for a new generation of artists that are pushing their own unique and fresh take on dark industrial techno.
