disruption ist ein Produzenten- & DJ-Duo aus Süddeutschland. 
Die beiden Stuttgarter haben sich Anfang 2020 zusammengeschlossen um Techno nach ihrem ganz eigenen Geschmack zu produzieren. Ihr unverwechselbarer Sound, der von treibenden Basslines und Trancy-Melodien geprägt ist, hat den noch jungen Produzenten bereits diverse Veröffentlichungen auf bekannten Labels wie NewKids, COUP und 01010100 eingebracht. Für den Sommer & Herbst sind bereits weitere Releases geplant. Das solltet ihr auf keinen Fall verpassen!

nyctophilia Podcast 023 - disruption

@moon_cat_nm from Paraguay has been introduced to music since she was little. From the age of 5 (2003) she had artistic approaches, beginning with tastes and practices as a dancer and with musical instruments. From that point on, she found her direction and direction until she reached louder sounds. Being a dance teacher she began to have that approach with the public by showing her art and transmitting her emotions through it. She then she began to listen and learn about alternative genres such as rock, punk, among others until she reached techno and its darker branches. Since 2017, she began to have the first approaches of her towards Deejay until finally launching in December 2020 as an artist in residence of Erotic Sentimentalism officially.

Based on a hypnotic style, Industrial, acid, rave and hardtechno she has released mixes that until now have remained hidden as a sample of her practice. In addition, she has a particular taste for expressive melodies with acid touches, especially if they are dark. "Angel face with hell music" is a characteristic reference to her.

"Møøncat emerges as a representation of someone who loves and conserves the light within the darkness, has a dark side that is not afraid to show. It is changing, dies and is reborn. It is always in constant evolution like the moon in its cycle, where It grows, it hides, but no matter what it is always shining in its own way. In addition to that is the symbolism of the cat, they associate their pupils with the different phases of the moon. "I identify with elegance and cat intuition, emotional energy, sensuality, mystery and instrumental harmony. "

She is currently a Resident of @eroticsentimentalism Collective / Records in Colombia as a Dj and model and Utopic collective, productions & agency in Paraguay.

FORBIDDEN is an uprising producer & DJ, known for his unique style and original music. FORBIDDEN is currently taking over the modern techno scene and presents young hope in the music industry. His sound blends acid, techno and trance into a brutal whole.
Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best.
As producer he has signed contract with many big record labels like Dolma, COUP, Expel Your Demons and more. He is also owner of his own label called “Etom Records”.
Though he loves playing in nightclubs and special events, his love for music goes to K9 Station where he is resident. As a producer, label owner and DJ, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically.

Montgomery Gurns is a DJ and 1/3 of London-based queer collective Technomate. Myles (AKA Montgomery Gurns) enjoys playing genres such as hard techno, industrial and acid techno with some rave and trance thrown in for good measure.

They fell in love with the techno scene in London at their first party a few years after moving and have been listening to and exploring more genres ever since. They decided to take up DJing as a hobby, found they greatly enjoyed it, and are now looking forward to where it could lead.

The Irish female selector has a flair for furious fist-pumping techno. Her sets are super-charged with acid and trance which shaped her sound. She is heavily influenced by Charlotte de Witte, Trym, Nico Moreno, Charlie Sparks and Vladimir Dubyshkin. 
Her tune selection won't go anything lower than 140bpm, leaving dancefloors in ruins with her fierce selects. This young artist is looking to leave a dent on Irish and English club culture through her slick mixing. Recently signed to Echelon booking agency based in the Uk it is not long before windows of opportunities open up. She also hopes to release her first EP within the next year. Expect raucous raw and untamed techno from this rising DJ in the year 2021 as big things are set to take place.

We curate queer sex-positive parties with equally queer line-ups, featuring mostly non-binary and trans DJs. Our aim is to platform artists with gender identities that are under-represented in the music industry, showing that it is possible to have more inclusive and diverse booking practices without a decrease in musical quality, but in fact with an increase by bringing new and previously unheard perspectives to the dance floor.

Discovering and nurturing new talent is at the very essence of SUBVERTED. We stand in resistance to the homogenisation and sanitisation to which the techno industry has been subjected in recent years via formulaic, easily-digested productions and repetitive line-ups, and intend to continue opening the industry's gates for a new generation of artists that are pushing their own unique and fresh take on dark industrial techno.
