Yes, THAT Kharkiv, the hometown of the Ukrainian dynamic duo of Komponente and Kurilo with their Trance Pandemic label, also the city on the frontier of the Russian/Ukrainian war. Living in a much calmer city in Ukraine, it’s really hard for me to imagine making any production plans there, in this case, it means nothing but honor and respect for the guys. This is Language's first record that came out back in 1991, showing off two great early UK techno cuts. Perhaps it was overlooked due to their second EP 'In The Lab', initially released the following year and recently reissued, but it's a must for groovy and melodic techno fans out there.

Almost 30 years later, this gem is being reissued on Baldo's Physical Education, on a special release that brings two additional cuts: previously unreleased demo from 1990 that were found by Language's Alex and Mark, while looking for the original recording tapes. Certainly a record to keep an eye out for, with a sound that aged very well and will get you moving your body for some physical education.

He said he couldn’t remember when he actually first did it…when he first traveled through time. In fact, he didn’t seem very sure of anything. What he did describe in great detail was the first time he saw her. “Pieces of a smile dancing with the reflections of a passing ship,” he said, deciding to hold on to that moment for as long as he could. He’s done this before. Sometimes it worked. Sometimes it didn’t, reluctantly joining everything in a slow and somber march towards nothing. He said, “I don’t know how long it’s been.” I still don’t believe him. I think he’s just getting used to his new life. I think he’s just getting used to dating in space.
