Even the all-time party goers can lose their sparkle in these cruel and quarantined times by getting stuck at home for too long. But for one of Moscow's finest DJ-crews it’s hasn’t been the case. 

The fourth vinyl instalment on the label’s roster is a hard bumping debut EP from the UK-born/Swedish-based musician - Lewis. He has brought a bunch of analogue equipment and just the right moves to produce this dance floor ready 4-tracker, seasoned with classy electro and of course just a drop of acid straight from the 90-s. We are pumped to share our 7th release: “Snorkeling in Dewsbury” by a fairly new name out of Leeds, Midge Thompson. Another heavy hitter out of the UK (go figure), we first caught wind of him via his release on Butter Side Up (Big shout out to Hamish!) and knew we had to get him on board for his next vinyl output. 

He delivered the goods as we expected with a well rounded EP that's an ode to his hometown. The A1, Snorkeling in Dewsbury, is the title track and delivers a punchy but deep, house groove. Fat bass lines, catchy chords and a subtle yet uplifting vocal make this a warm-up killer. For the A2, Snorkeling in Dewsbury gets a rework by our Italian brother Paolo Mosca. He puts his own twist on the title track with a progressive arrangement that eventually erupts into a dance floor weapon that is begging for a dark, sweaty room. Heads down, hands up. 

On the flipside you get “Sometimes You Can” a hi-hat and sub-bass driven, deep yet techy, track akin to the golden age of 90’s house music with timeless minimal vocals and swing. To round out the EP, you get Hot Rod, a slow-building, big room slammer that’s patiently waiting for club’s to re-open.

After revealing some of the mystery tracks with their second release from the unknown producer △, third installation on Moscow’s record label Exarde is coming to you from Slovenia. Four compositions are crafted with a proper use of analogue gear such as well-known Roland’s drum machines with them grooves and a lovely fat «moogy» basslines. 

As the story goes, they were made right between the years 2018-2019 and has started just as a part of the first ever live act of the artist. After a few tweaks 3 scenes became separate tracks and began their journey to the vinyl, then with the addition of the one home jam recording — Nidark EP was complete for your listening pleasure.
