The fourth release from the Shuffle Valley will be the extension of our Shuffle Blends Series, which aims to gather new talented artists from all the latitudes around the world. We invite all the listeners to explore once again the sound journey we prepared for this volume, this time with a four track split EP from KAWAII SAN, a new brilliant producer from the UK and Donnie Cosmo, the new alias shaped by our label head DCM during the pandemic.

Kommuna is back with the “Silent Uproar” EP featuring James Andrew with a special feel-good track that sets a positive dancefloor vibe through dreamy breaky rhythms. Driahn’s “Recreate” provides elegant breaks for what can be the perfect track for the obscure late hours.
The B-Side of the record is an energy blast with Driahn’s “Phazed & Confused” infectious groove bringing damage to the dancefloor and Pekkuliar’s ghetto-tech inspired track closing this versatile EP in an unexpected way.

B1 fires up the rolling acid while B2 is made for those heady late moments in the club.

Butter Side Up Records welcomes back Liquid Earth for Deputy Dog, his second EP on the label. It arrives in early May and once again explores a sublime and spaced-out club sound with original artwork by Cleymoore.

New school mainstay Liquid Earth last appeared on this label in the summer of 2020. Since then, the LA-based artist has continued to bring his sound to labels like Kalahari Oyster Cult and his own Liquid Earth Physical. He mixes up elements of the OG 90s tech house sound with fresh West Coast feels, infectious analogue grooves and a real understanding of dance floor dynamics.

This new EP continues that signature sound with opener '2 The Dance Floor' bringing tight, punchy drums and swirling cosmic pads that make for a cinematic trip. 'Deputy Dog' gets more unhinged with its wild modulated leads bleeping and squeaking over brushed metal drums and a fat bassline. 'Rim City' continues to up the ante with party-starting energy coming from quick, slick drums and jungle breaks, raved-up chord patterns and subtle trance vibes. It's a brilliantly busy arrangement to really make the floor cut loose. Last but not least, 'Feels So Good (As It Should)' locks you into a deeper, more marching groove that's coloured with muted neon pads and cosmic motifs.

These are full-flavour tracks that brim with musical character and plenty of dance floor clout.

Liquid Earth - Deputy Dog EP (BSU009)

For our fourth solo EP reference we flip directly to our deepest side teaming up with talented newcomer Lucho, who has recently signed a full solo EP with the renowned label Magic Carpet (Portugal) and with our dear friends from Picnic Day Music (Spain). Since his Magic Carpet release, we were fascinated by his exceptional production style, a perfectly crafted mix between deep and blissful melodies, bouncy rhythms and organic arrangements that keep constantly evolving, inviting to listen more.

We invite you to get on board and listen to the ride that Lucho has prepared with love for all of us, four refined tracks ready to be played at your favorite club but also to be enjoyed in the comfort of your couch.
