Jordan Saunders, better known as the Junglord, is a 20 year old on a mission to produce a new modern wave of Jungle whilst maintaining some of the genres key components. Without displaying too much influence from aspects of modern DnB, Junglord attempts to recreate the vibe of the oldskool sound but for a 21st century audience - with heavy amens and comic vocals.

With a sound that is already well seasoned and full-flavoured. Jungle Ingredients is a more rugged affair. This for the break beat connoisseur. Cheeky use of vocal samples and filthy sub bass describing the tune as it builds along. All neatly perched on the quintessential amen break! B Side Northern Monkeys kicks off with an atmospheric intro with samples of a broad Mancunian male voice. This drops into a deep sub bass  driven, amen tear out, that will destroy any dance-floor. Junglord has carved out modern pieces of jungle for 2013 with a vintage 1995 feel and is without doubt a name to watch!

To celebrate the 10th RELEASE on the label - we are going back to where it all started in the summer of 2013, with first releasing artist and golden boy Epicentre.

A super talented DJ & Producer hailing from the northwest UK, he is is the man who kicked off Sub-Woofah recordings with the debut release One Way & Champion in summer 2013 – very well received and supported by the likes of Kenny Ken, Ray Keith, Lionfire and Dawn Raid to name a few, it reached number 10 in a very competative JunoDownload DnB chart. Now 1 year on we are proud to present heavy jungle flavours from the man in the form of Slumfunk and One Way VIP – a remake of the classic. 

Slumfunk does not pull any punches, big dance floor vibes, one for all the junglist soldiers!! Crisp edited breaks, filthy bass, big subs and a hypnotic ragga vox, all perfectly blended. 

One Way VIP takes it back to where it all began; a retake of the debut release from Sub-Woofah has been given the VIP treatment from Epicentre. Maintaining the theme of the original with a grittier twist and plenty of amens. A special treat for those who loved the original!

Euphonique conjures up pure roots fire with her 'Wicked Soul' EP! Brimming with dancehall vibes from the onset - the title track enters with a bubbling ska like intro that leads to a beast of drop. Amen rinsed bass pressure, switching from rave style to militant 4x4 to big bass roll out. Great atmospherics and use of vocal add depth to the track. Dance floor damage guaranteed!! Up next we’re on a straight rolling tip - crisp breaks and bass line that pummels it's way through the centre of the track in ‘Run’ an industry favourite. A slightly different vibe with ‘Million’, but still deeply rooted in the dancehall; dubwise, skanking style before dropping into a funked out steppa. Euphonique means business!! To finish the EP, we have a stripped back dubstep like offering of the title track of the EP. This version maintains a big laid back sound with dub sound system mentality.

Sub-Woofah comes correct with their new ‘Jungle Xplorers’ Series - the first of many exploring jungle producers - new and existing - from around the globe.

This month’s volume focuses on strictly UK producers - opening with an oldskool vibe from the leading lady herself - Euphonique - with a smooth intro featuring a cheeky vocal from Buju Banton and friends, dropping into carefully sliced breaks over a sub bass - enough to make Big Men Cry. The next track, by the young ‘Omega’ entwines a hollow ’94 style bassline & rolling amens. Erbman steps it up a notch - bringing the funk in typical hustlin’ style - with steppy beats and serious wobble. Starting off slow - DnB Radio’s DJ Ransome and Synthforce build things up to an addictively droning bass line which intensifies as the track goes on! Finally new and talented producer Sl8er cools us off with a smooth and delicious break riddled jungle beat nicely entitled - Buckfast At Tiffany’s - this EP is sure to take you on one hell of a journey through the jungle!

If you like your bass lines heavy and your beats rolling - the first selection of RUFF ROLLERZ is your measure! Kicking things off is Epicentre - you won’t dare go near his crops with track entitled Trees featuring a woofing bassline and ringing sirens. Wait for the drop from Warhead - growling and steppy drums are bound to cause a Stick Up. Motiv keeps things rolling with Circumstances - tense drums and and atmospherics behind a swirl of low end. Jamoh gets a little Swanky with precision percussion and a gritty lead. Kovert takes us back to the Hardkore days with carefully selected oldskool flavours and cheeky subs.
