Sometimes I remember the first time I ate a pancake. It was the greatest thing that happened to me. I was only three, but damn, what a memory. Or maybe I was four years old but I wanted more.

Brunch with some of the finest syrups known to mankind. You know it’s real when the pancake make love to you. Bring out the bacon, add another slice, you feel right. And then you squeeze a couple drops of orange, feed your appetite.

Last night I had this obscure waffle. Reppin’ maple coffee glaze, like it was a marvel. Keep on slicing, dicing, waffle got me mesmerizing. Got me in a state of trance, 2013, Danny Boyle.

But no matter how obscure it was. I’ll keep on going back to my one and only true love. Yeah the waffle was amazing, man, it got me craving. But I fell in love with the pancake first, man, it got me crazy.

Can’t believe it’s almost sixteen years. I’d like to take the time out and simply say cheers. Since I had my first bite of the pancake. I knew that life will never be the same, was finally awake.

First things first, there are a million kinds of pancakes. Maybe not a million, but I know we got a thousand. And in that thousand every pancake has at least three toppings that will make your mouth drool and your mind “ooh”.

Actually, pancakes are more obscure. Never has a cake been so good and damn pure. Esoterically alluring, emotionally securing. Every bite of it will make you feel like you maturing.

Keep it fresh, cakes will never be the fucking same. Thank the Ancient Greeks and Romans, they started the game. Who ever knew that a flat cake that is often thin and round, would gain universal praise, and critical acclaim to this very pleasant day?

All-purpose flour. Baking powder. Baking soda. Salt.
2 cups, double teaspoon, a single then a half.
3 tablespoons of sugar, 2 large eggs, beaten.
3 cups of buttermilk. 4 and a half spoons of butter.
 
Flour, powder, soda, salt, sugar, put them in a bowl.
Beaten eggs, buttermilk, butter, in a separate bowl.
Whisk them muthafuckin’ bowls and you combine the shit.
Heat the griddle, brush, half a teaspoon of butter on it.

For each pancake, pour about half a cup of batter.
2 and a half minutes, flip the cake, cook another minute.
Cook until it’s golden brown, you repeat it eight times.
And that is how you make them pancakes. Time for you to shine.
