Four40 Records are proud to present “Can’t Leave” - the new EP from Coventry’s promising Suck Fake (careful you don’t say that wrong on the radio). Featuring four gritty dance-floor focussed House tracks, our next release is a great interpretation of what’s going on right now in the Midlands and all over the UK.

Suck Fake has been heavily supported by the likes of B.traits and Cameo on BBC Radio 1 and 1xtra, along with a range of Rinse FM selectors giving him airtime. We’re especially excited to show you his follow up to 2012’s “Big Skank” which was one of the top 25 releases on Juno Download.

Can’t Leave and Why You Messing build anticipation with cleverly crafted vocal cuts and come together strongly with a combination of skippy hi-hats, snappy percussion and a rude, driving bassline.

Fuck Um Deep is a collaboration with Daniel Brooks and has a rough, industrial snare running through it. The track’s hypnotic syncopated synths rise and fall dramatically to the rhythm of the beat and you can tell this one has been purpose built for a huge sound-system in a warehouse.

They Love offers something a little bit different to round off the release, with an infectious melody backed up by a chunky sub-bass and Suck Fake’s signature garage inspired drums.

We’re certain that this young producer is going to be one to watch out for in years to come. Feedback appreciated.

The Mutant Youth Records camp continues to keep up the momentum with their third release courtesy of fresh off the block producer Oliver Thomas. The Manchester based beat maker brings us his debut offering “Kreaper”.

Kreaper provides elements of tech and bass house, fused with classic sounding piano stabs, string synths and rolling percussion, with a hooky vocal thrown in for good measure.

Suck Fake (Four40) is on hand to provide a solid retake on the original. A hypnotic synth and bass groove leads the way on this fluid deep tech adventure.
Label front man Jamie George is also on remix duties, bringing a rolling bassline, gritty midrange bass tones and a skippy drum pattern to the table.
