We wrote this song before we had a name, Sam sent me the instrumental and I wanted to improvise some words over the top.  I was staying at my parents’ house in the mountains. At that time I was reading a book called “The Chalice and The Blade” which spoke about a Goddess, and a peaceful people who worshipped the Goddess. I thought it sounded like a good idea. So I started singing about the Goddess, and I was in the kitchen, so I was also singing about what I could see in there at that moment. Sam put all my ramblings in order and we massaged the lyrics until it sounded like a song. When we save songs in Ableton we often add the date at the end of a working title. This song was called GODDESS, and the date was 9/11/2018, so the file name became GODDESS_911.als … Suddenly what we were doing fell into place. We had a name

24 instrumental compositions explore themes of transformation, alienation, and existential anxiety through the lens of lo-fi aesthetics and dark trap. The warmth of Roland's analog synthesizers contrasts with the cold absurdity of modern existence — like Kafka's characters trapped in endless bureaucratic corridors, sounds get stuck between the walls of a tiny room.
The album is a diary of sleepless nights where the boundaries of reality blur, a human transforms into sound, and sound becomes a document of internal trial. Recorded on obsolete equipment in an impossible space, it becomes a testament to how creativity is born not despite limitations, but because of them.
