Ahead of the full Karol XVII & MB Valence remix album arriving later in the year, Get Physical Music is back with a second selection taken from it. Guy J and Compuphonic provide fresh new versions while the remixes from Jackspeare and Karol XVII & MB Valence are from the vaults.

Guy J has been at the forefront of the prog house scene for decades. The Lost & Found label head is a master of melody and shows that here with his take on 'Waterfall Drops.' It's a slow-burning gem with diffused pads and twinkling melodies that captivate the head as well as the heel. Compuphonic is Maxime Firket and someone who has an expansive sound and has produced several underground hits on labels like Exploited. His take on 'Sonus & Bang Bang' is brilliantly lush, harmonic and soft focus, with distant steel drums and shimmering melodies bringing sophisticated sound to the grooves.

Karol XVII & MB Valence's 'The Last Update Mix' of 'Waterfall Drops' is one with loose, jangling chords and drums. It's light and airy with a dubby low end full of warmth. Label regular Jackspeare closes out with a spine-tingling deep house rework with cute melodic hooks and sombre chords over a persuasive beat.

Stable members of the Australian electronic scene, GMJ & Matter are a combo that spreads pure love for the craft. Known for their otherworldly progressive sound, the duo, who have their own successful solo careers, began their collaboration back in May 2016 and have created moments of dance floor genius ever since.

Opening the EP, the tile track 'Everything Dissolves' we are quickly immersed in the liquid smooth sound that has won them the respect of fans across the globe. Snappy hats and a rubbery bassline hypnotise before the subtle melodics and spoken word vocals draw you deeper still. Early morning music dripping in soulfulness.

Next up, 'Naxxar' continues apace. From a funky shaker-driven percussive framework, deep bass and icy pads hang as subtle middle-eastern sonics add direction. Rivers of time flow through concrete and glass, reflecting a sky that still remembers the hum of old synths and the first breath of analog noise. In Zurich, sound and architecture live in the same rhythm. Rick Fox (@dj_rick_fox) returns to [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] with his second release — calm, precise, and deliberate. Part of the Story is a new collection from the Swiss maestro, composed in those rare moments when the city falls silent and only the movement of its spirit can be heard — where every loop of echo seems to know its own name.

Let’s start with the originals.
::: Part of the Story sounds like an inner monologue whispered through delay. A straight line, steady pulse, clean structure — everything is in its place. A story no one remembers, yet everyone feels.
::: Izpi brings light — a narrow beam in an evening window. There’s motion upward, but without haste, toward the space where sound stops being material.
::: Funny Cats — a short smile within space, a warm note that breaks symmetry. It brings unexpected softness — a moment of irony in a world of exact rhythms and dense textures.
