Moose, 25, is a fresh-faced, aspiring DJ/Producer that recently landed in Bristol in search of a scene. Having moved from a part of the midlands that lacked one, he primarily bolstered profile through online channels.

From occasional gigs to online residencies with stations like Voices & Mode, to having mixes hosted by various platforms like Frequencies, BlueDollarBillz and Sudo Sound. he looked to remain proactive in music. Following the move, quickly-found footing meant output continuing in the form of released productions, sets on the local underground circuit and a new residency with Bristol's Void Radio.

In the studio, he’s explored both emulating and experimenting with the production of Breaks-driven tracks, landing releases with Profound Sound, Solitude and DREDCOL, amongst others.

Moose has spent his formative producing years beginning to craft a sound. With forthcoming productions seeing the light of day via platforms like Keep Hush, BBC Introducing, Balamii & SWU. As that sound evolves, influences from the contemporary UK Bass and Electro scenes can be heard in recent output.

Moose’s sets focus on dynamic blends; Digital or vinyl, he looks to keep the mix moving consistently & push a variety of percussive sounds, both classic & contemporary. After finding a strong footing in UKG, Breaks & Jungle, he’s more recently ventured into early 00s Breakbeat, Leftfield Bass, Electro and other percussion-driven bass music in both his live sets & radio shows."

Hailing from Birmingham, UK, Delta is known for his cutting-edge fusion of dubstep, grime and techno - to name just a few.

Delta's second outing on Sudo Sound sees him explore the darker side of dubstep with a focus on sound design throughout. Expect the usual warped subs, skippy drums and intricately layered vocal samples.

In the wake of a weighty mix series and a sell-out Bristol show, Sudo Sound are here with another killer EP. Take the Lead is a well-matched pairing between a rising label and an established name - none other than Chord Marauder corner stone Jafu

Whilst the Canadian artist has worked with the likes of Geode, J. Sparrow, Kodama and Congi, his personal discography bears enough merit alone to cement his name in the scene for good.

Take the Lead comes a year after Jafu’s 26 track LP Stack City (Chord Marauders) and carries the same originality and sonic dexterity whilst leaning more towards the firmly dub-oriented feel that Sudo Sound has been championing in recent years.

The EP exemplifies Jafu’s ability to artfully present playful melodies, radical drum patterning and far-out sonics without pretence. Melodic progressions are anchored to head-nodding percussion and smile-inducing licks – explorations in sound that carry a modern edge whilst paying respects to the techniques and experimentalism typified by dub music’s originators.

Jafu opens with the titular Take the Lead which launches from a hyped-up vocal sample into an adventure that veers between trademark melodic expression and darker phrases too –eastern accents and whip cracks peep out from between murky lows and provide subtlety to an otherwise body shaking track.

In Used To, Jafu opens with light atmospheric chord work before pulling the rug from beneath us as we find ourselves in the midst of trudging wobs and steady kicks. As with Take the Lead, the central motifs of the song are maintained but modified – modulated by melodic expressions and dubbed out snippets from the spacey beyond.

The EP is not done there. Bonus track Flux n’ Fux is as irregular and swung as the last 18 months and yet just as enjoyable as your first night back in the dance. Delightfully catchy melodies sit astride asymmetrical drum patterns in a track exemplifies Jafu’s reputation as a boundary pusher.

For our tenth release we welcome a keenly watched up and coming DJ & producer; CEASAR. 

This selector come producer has been making strides in the scene with his Drum & Bass releases in recent years alongside his residency with Long Dark Tunnel. This time however he’s turned his ear towards 140 and Dubstep for the first time, and we’re proud to finally get this project out on SUDO. This three-track project encompasses a breadth of influences from the 140 scene with Ceasar making his own twists throughout. Echo’s of Grime and Drum & Bass can be spotted through this release with even some Garage flavours finding a place in the final track.

We’re very excited to welcome Mia to the Sudo discography!

Born in Devon with Bristol as her second home, Mia Temple has a rich musical background, spanning from drumming at the age of 13 in a punk outfit all the way to co-fronting the 8 piece reggae band 'Backbeat Soundsystem' on Easy Star records. 

She currently lives a nomadic lifestyle, performing as a vocalist for a living, producing tracks for her digital dub/140 duo project ‘ESKIMO NEBULA' and making beats + DJing with the rest of her time. 

Her production and DJ style is deep, gritty, hard & heavy but can also output tribal and rhythmic impressions amongst her 140 / Grime influenced performances. Her first original release ‘Pilgrim', which dropped October 2022, gained support from the formidable @deeptempo140 podcast as well as garnering support from renowned DJs in the scene on an international level. Since then she has been consistently hot on the studio graft with tracks such as ‘Gate Of Storr' and now her latest imprint, 'Trust', out today on all platforms.

Spectral is a DJ & Producer based in Bristol, who came up through the EQ50 mentoring programme with Critical Music in 2020. Quickly gathering a reputation for delivering high energy bass music sets, her extensive music library integrates Drum and Bass and Jungle with Dubstep, Grime and beyond. 

To date she has played across some of the UK’s most iconic venues such as Fabric and Printworks, as well as expanding internationally with performances in Albania, Amsterdam, Berlin, Croatia and Switzerland amongst others. She has delivered memorable livestreams and mixes for Shogun Audio, Hospital Records and Deep Tempo, and began a radio residency with Kool Fm mid 2023. Born in 1994, Fabrizio Delli Falconi, known as 'Breez,' discovered music as a teenager, teaching himself to play the bass guitar. Shortly after, he ventured into electronic music production and night clubbing. Since 2015, Breez has developed a distinct sound characterized by sharp, dark atmospheres as well as sweeter, melodic tones with dub influences, always emphasizing low frequencies. His productions span from Dubstep to Lofi beats, consistently drawing inspiration from the world of Black Music.

Breez has released several digital and vinyl tracks on labels including Tribe12, Transient Audio, LDH Records, Cue Line Records, and 786 Recordings. His music regularly features on prominent radio stations such as Rinse FM, Subtle FM, and Mode Radio. He has received support from leading figures in the UK bass scene, including J:Kenzo, Sicaria Sound, Spooky, Karma, Distance and many others.

In September 2022, Breez launched his own radio program, 'Natch Batch,' on Broadband Radio, a web radio and cultural community with offices in Turin, Berlin, and Barcelona.

Having always been around electronic music, (be it his older cousins in the 90's / or later his friends in and around 2005-2006) Kemist has an ear, and collection that leaves room for all styles.

A top advocate of the Dubstep and Grime culture since late 2007, there is not much that slips under his radar in the scene. Furthering his footprint in the vinyl community, Kemist has now ventured out on a vinyl only label (Vinyl Vigilance) Boasting artists such as Kromestar, K Man, Cluekid, RDG, Nova & Repulsion, Krytikal & L Nix.

From his solid connections to the 40Hz Soundsystem (Toronto) down to the TsunamiBass Experience (New York) stretching out and over to the UK friends. There is a chance you've seen him posting about vinyl releases or you just know him from the Vinyl Vigilance Facebook community.

Playing along side the likes of Hatcha / Kahn / K Man / RDG / Cluekid & Joe Nice. Kemist is always prepared to fling knowledge through sound.

Raised with a live world music influence, https://soundcloud.com/yakshasounds realised a love for roots music from the very beginning. Inspired by mixtapes given to him by Alpha & Omega over the years, he began experimenting with his own productions from the age of 15. 

Since then, Yaksha has developed a deep stepper sound, driven by a conscious message and featuring trombone from his father. 

Now having played through the original ‘Tip-A-Tone HiFi’ and supported Lee “Scratch” Perry, the underlying aim for Yaksha remains to reflect upon the foundations of the culture; and, as the name literally means, to respect the natural treasures within the trees roots. After starting an all vinyl record label back in October, Yaksha’s first 2 records sold out within days of release.
