I wrote this song several years ago when I was hurting.  I am uploading it to SoundCloud today in remembrance of the OSU basketball coaches who lost their lives in the plane crash in Arkansas yesterday.

This is an upbeat rock-and-roll style song about how doing illegal drugs is a poor choice and the negative effects that can follow.

Written in 1994 (remastered and released on iTunes in 2011), the "McMeow, The Crime Kitty" album and live children's show received two awards (in 1994) from Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating and the Red Ribbon/Oklahoma Federation of Parents organization.

CIRCLE THE WORLD WITH LOVE was performed in Tipperary, Ireland in July 2011 at the International Tipperary Peace Convention's "Song of Peace" contest.  The song received a 2nd Place score out of 10 finalists.

 "Circle The World With Love" is the title song of a children's holiday musical of the same name.  The musical was written in 1993.  This recording with only vocal and piano was recorded in 2012.  The entire musical will be recorded with full orchestral tracks in the future.

This is an original Native American children's song for voice and recorder written by singer/songwriter, Sue Straw The melody is easy for students to sing and to play on the recorder.  Native instruments used included deer-toe rattles and a coyote skull rattle she made herself! 

The early Native Americans were one with nature and respected all living things.

From my 1991 cassette, "I Can't Say No To Jesus" 

During the summers of 1989, 1990, and 1991 I played the role of "Ado Annie" -- the girl who "cain't say no" -- in Discoveryland's outdoor production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Oklahoma!"

*Discoveryland is located in Sand Springs (near Tulsa), Oklahoma.

I wrote and recorded this cassette album of 10 gospel songs, sold it at the Discoveryland gift shops and performed the songs at many area churches.

I performed the role of "Ado Annie" for three summers -- about 100 performances per summer!  Yes, I know the part backwards and forwards!
