1. The Statement

Suffix is a Hip Hop artist from Malawi. He released his debut album titled Before I Sleep in 2018 on the 5th of May. Premiered as a free show in Lilongwe, the event was patronised by over eight thousand fans. The album featured a number of great international artists such as former Reach Records artist Sho Baraka (America), Lota House member, Pompi (Zambia) and Lily Million (South Africa).
In September 2018, Suffix headlined the Lake of Stars Festival alongside Major Lazer and Sauti Sol. The festival is described by CNN as one of the best music festivals in Africa, and it was the first time Suffix had performed let alone headlined the event. In October the same year, Suffix also performed at the Sand Music Festival.
