Dj Phi Phi’s career started in 1985. One of most reputed belgium night club requested Phi Phi as resident DJ at “At The Villa” in 1987. Following the several ascension as resident Dj at all biggest & famous nightlife in clubs such as Boccaccio Life (Destelbergen-Be) and Cirao (WaregemBe) in 1993. He was Phi Phi resident dj at Cafe d’Anvers in 1994, Tour & Taxi (1996), Fuse, Oxygene, Pulp (2001) & Barocco. Known all over Belgium for his “Phi Phi Legendary Monday’s” at Extreme (Affligem, Brussels) between 1994 and 2002. He has been played at worldwide Clubs & Festivals as Tomorrowland, Legacy Festival, WMC, Nikki Beach (Miami), Privilege (Ibiza), Noxx (Anvers), Fuse (Brussel), Pulse Factory with headliners such as Paul Van Dyk, John Digweed, Sasha, Oliver Lieb (LSG), Laurent Garnier & Danny Howells..

PRODUCER CAREER
Debut music producing started in completely french collaboration with Philippe Van Mullem in 1989 with, inter alia, UNA (Emotion, Can you hear me..), HONEY C (Stop the disease, Desire..), INNERTALES (Odysee, Voices Of Sirens..), QUADRAN (Eternaly, Free your mind..) and following the Quadran Debut Album “VOYAGE” which is kick-started movements of melodic & uplifting trance.

In 1995, Phi-Phi and French Dj-Producer Gregory Dewindt debut massive revelation “PHI PHI & GREG D – Jesus Trip” (X-Stream / DIKI Records) which has definitely burned the nightlife and got lot of influences, the most famous tune in belgian DJ scene and still a legendary track today, then this greatest seller announced the following amazing Duo classic & popular release “L’Odysee Of Love” & “Contact” on Bonzaï Trance Progressive.
Label brand Mackenzie Recordings founded by Stef Garner & Patrick Fasseau trusts to Phi Phi whose both tracks “Magma” & “Jungles Trip” came out.

In 2003. Then Stef Garner and Phi Phi, under the nick name “DB Movement”, released the house track “Funk Shaker” (WORK Records) in 2005 and both tracks “Rotation” & Evidence” (LCD Recordings) in 2013.

Phi Phi & Airwaves started kind of very british progressive sounds inspired of Bedrock style. Influenced so far by Sasha & John Digweed, their tracks such as “Back on track”, “Breeze on the nile”, “The Horn”, “Vanilla” & “Finesse” signed on BONZAI PROGRESSIVE get on top in best seller Beatport and Itunes in 2013.

2014 saw the new collaboration with Label founder IFONIKA RECORDINGS and friend, Roddy Reynaert. Their First E.P “Platinum” & “Neurotrope” has been released on special “Underground Series” on Roddy ‘s Label IFONIKA.

2015 to 2016, “Atlan”, “Believe”, “Mayhem” and “Circulation” were released with Roddy on Bonzaï Progressive. Plus solo projects: Alone, Hiccup, Esteem and Breaking Danger.

2017, in February: compilation « Phi Phi In The Mix 004 » (Bonzai Progressive) and in March two new EPs with Roddy Reynaert "Aokighara" on Bonzai Progressive and "Tour & Taxi" on Suffused Music.

April 2, 2017 atop the roof at the Be Playa Hotel, in Playa Del Carmen, Robert Mason and I didn't get to do a live performance as anticipated but we put our heads together and went b2b after sunset. The event was a a charity event that is now sponsoring 4 kids to go to school for a semester.

We didn't get a live recording but I put together a bunch of the tracks I played and made this mix to clear my head today. It's got a weird progression and is kind of all over the map but definitely has some intense techno sounds and gorgeous melodies.

The summer of 2010 was already picking up its pace. Because of record high temperatures the cities were half empty with only dust and melting roads, as all the people were near the sea or at lakes, rivers, ponds and all sorts of swamps... so to say returned to the roots of life. Despite the forest fires, crops dying and people having to stay in water all day as if they were hippos, the heat wave really had some nice sides to it in the capital of Lithuania, Vilnius. It was here where Lithuania`s most promising new deep progressive act of 2010 emerged, and the underground electronic music scene has never been the same. As summer faded and the temperature dropped, everything returned to normal. But not for Suffused, who is still showing quite high temperatures and bringing exceptional heat to the global music scene.

Starting with the show "Suffused Diary" on Digitally Imported in 2011, Suffused has continually presented the freshest upcoming tracks from all around the world. Suffused Diary has seen the likes of Kasey Taylor, Tomas Haverlik, Airwave, Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic, Lemon8, Cid Inc and many other prominent artists in the progressive house field. As of 2012, the show was transferred to friskyRadio where it continues to host exceptional guests and leave lasting impressions with each episode.

In 2013 Suffused launched their own imprint "Suffused Music”, a label that has managed to make a huge dent in the progressive scene in its short lifespan. With a long and ever growing list of all star talent, Suffused Music is a label to keep in your sites. Releases from artists including Van Bellen, Moshic, Rick Pier O'Neil, John Johnson, Danny Lloyd, Kay-D, Dynamic Illusion, Kieran J, Faskil, Progress Inn, Matteo Monero, East Cafe, Ryan Sullivan, Stephen J. Kroos, and many more, keeping Suffused Music in the spotlight with a steady release of fresh sounds. Not able to fit all the fantastic music into one label, Suffused launched sister labels Suffused Polarities, Cloudy Moon Records, and Magnetism Digital (together with Trukers) to cover a wide range of genres including Progressive, Breaks, Techno, Tech-House, relaxed Ambient, Downtempo and Chill Out soundscapes. 2014 also saw the beginning of a new show called 'Over the Moon' on Proton Radio.

Beyond the labels, Suffused has been heard at a variety of events, sharing the booth with Cid Inc, Sonic Union, Ewan Rill, LoQuai, CJ Art, qoob, Michael & Levan, Kastis Torrau, Sun, Quartz and more. This year will see him playing at Yaga Gathering and with more events still to come.
