The title track ‘Get On Up and Dance’ packs awesome beats, great production and an infectious vocal hook so strong that it seemingly registers instant recognition as if its already planted in your subconscious. LFO soup is a gem of track that the guys have been cheekily keeping to themselves for a while. We managed to persuade them to share what has been a big Dj battle weapon for them, so that you can now join in on the action.

Ying ‘N’ Yang Stormed the Beatport Charts with a top 10 entry for their debut release after only being together as an act for a matter of months, an impressive start for these guys. 
This time around they are back again working with the talented Marc Spence for the much-anticipated follow up EP; it doesn’t disappoint.  As with their first release, again we have 2 tracks – ‘Dirty Donald’ and ‘No Pain No Gain’ that are both hard to pigeonhole, which is what we like about them.  These are both dancefloor bangers and you can spot their love of Old skool breakbeat and the influences of the sound of ‘Dirtybird’ style house grooves and straight up Bass Music. Rory Lyons returns for his 3rd release on Sugarbeat and this time he is joined by label head honcho’s and multi million selling pioneers; Utah Saints. As you may have guessed by now this is a massive reworking of the Luniz classic “I Got Five on it” in a Drumstep style.  Having started out life as a dj Battle weapon for last summer’s festivals, the track destroyed every time it got an airing. It has already picked airtime from Radio 1, Kiss and Andi Durrant on Capital, plus support from some heavy weight dj’s including Matrix and Futurebound, Jacob Plant and Krafty Kuts. As we move into 2011 Sugarbeat carries on where it left off with another smash of a release.  This time we welcome Alex Schmitz into the Sugarbeat fold for some seriously good tracks. A producer and Dj  based in Birmingham he has been on the Dj circuit for the best part of a decade holding his own alongside the likes of CHRIS LAKE, NIC FANCIULLI , FEDDE LE GRANDE, DAVID GUETTA &amp;  MASON.

'Get Back Up Again' is quite simply setting dance floors alight. With the deftest of production touches it has been creating quite a buzz whenever it gets an airing. As if that wasn't enough peak time action for one release.  We also have mixes from Cause &amp; Effect and Marc Spence, which deliver things slightly differently but with the same devastating effect.

On these grounds it is safe to say Alex Schmitz is a name to watch out for in 2011
