A special White Night version of Dekopon Dance used in 360 degree projections by French duo Antoine et Manuel that took over the Dome Room of the State Library, Victoria for White Night Melbourne 2015. 

Alex Akers of FORCES gently edits Dekopon Dance with Sui Zhen for the special performance, which also featured Cayn Borthwick (NO ZU) on saxophone.

Spanish Hivern Discs cohorts Olde Gods – comprised of RBMA alum Guillamino and JMII – are back with a new tape that pays tribute to tapas. To whet your appetite, they’ve served us the edit “El Acid” on a platter to premiere. What sounds at first like a relaxed stroll at the beach soon turns into a comment on air pollution, as the acid reference reveals itself. Keep an eye out for Olde Gods’ “Tapes” release, coming up on April 21, and also check out La Mandanga’s Instagram account, the satirical Barcelona outpost responsible for the sweet illustrations.

Olde Gods - El Acid

On June 25th, 2017, we'll be celebrating our 250th party. To commemorate the occasion, we're releasing a mix and compilation by Mister founders and resident DJs Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin. It's called Mister Saturday Night, Then and Now.  

This is the lead track, a languid, joy-filled Ethiopian jazz song by the great Ethiopian vocalist, Menelik Wossenatchew. It was arranged and written by Mulatu Astatke. 

Mister Saturday Night, Then and Now is distributed by !K7 Records and available as a 3LP compilation and as a CD and on digital on Friday, June 30th.
