He started DJing at the age of 16 when for the first time he was given some plates and a table almost looking like a toy. His curiosity for music grew more and more over the years, going through styles such as Techno, Minimal, Electro, without hardly knowing much about them... 

Influenced by djs like Ima Txilaut, Trampas, Kreator... etc. his taste increasingly went more towards dark and rough sounds to the point of being very selective.

He has played in venues throughout the North area such as Pagoa, Loramendi, Artsaia, Zul, and numerous bars in Iruña and Donosti, all of them located in Spain. He has shared booth with national and international DJs from various guilds.

Currently he is dedicated to Techno and Electro, the latter being the one he is most passionate about.

'Djdmierda' and 'IKARUS' are his battle aliases. He considers himself crazy for the music and the art of DJing, since there is nothing else he likes more than that. He also likes to play IDM, Minimal and produce his crazy stuff for himself. He considers himself an amateur and home dj, since what he mostly enjoys it is playing for his people or at home raves.

deutschland canceln | shutdown soundtracks was the very last event at ://about blank in 2020 - and erik jäähalli gave us this powerful live set as the most beautiful parting gift for a long winter which is still ahead of us all. 

with his live set, erik prepared us musically for the demolition of the garden dancefloor which took place that night - a touching and powerful moment for everyone around that night, reflecting on the fragility and transience of club culture in these times, where everything only appears as a faint reminiscence of what we used to know - but will hopefully become as powerful again as the music played that night.

Located in the heart of berlin at Warschauer Straße in Friedrichshain, Lokschuppen is well known for its friendly and diverse atmosphere.
We value diversity and inclusion, actively promoting a respectful and supportive community. With a diverse program featuring live music, DJ sets, performances and art installations, we aim to create a space for creative minds from around the world. Also known as Suicide Club Berlin in the past, the club opened its doors in 1994, becoming a cornerstone of Berlin‘s techno scene. Named after the influential band „Suicide,“ it hosted DJs like DJ Hell and Ellen Allien. Despite closure in 1999 due to gentrification,
it found new homes, notably at RAW-Gelände in 2009, where it continues to flourish. Since 2024 the club is rebranded as Lokschuppen Berlin.
The club is known for hosting various local collectives that form the club‘s unique character and diverse crowd. From Formula 90 to Pfandidos, Devoted, and Gabber Industries Berlin, these collectives infuse our venue with a variety of genres, ranging from groove to trance, hardtechno, hardcore, and house. we welcomed many well known techno legends such as DJ Rush and Ellen Allien, but also raising stars like Brutalismus3000, MCR-T, Klangkünstler and many more. Since 2018, Chantal‘s House of Shame has found a new home at Lokschuppen, well known for its legendary queer parties featuring (drag)-performances and a sex-positive atmosphere.
