Mathias é um jovem músico, DJ e produtor uruguaio. Nasceu em Tacuarembó, radicado em Montevidéu. Iniciando sua jornada na música como guitarrista com raízes musicais diversas que vão do skate punk, metal progressivo, funk e jazz, ele acabou encontrando na house music a coexistência de estruturas rítmicas criativas e conteúdos harmônicos interessantes. Como DJ, ele gosta de manter um som “houseado” e “funky”, com mudanças repentinas de gênero ocasionais para apimentar as coisas. Ele gosta principalmente de tocar minimal house moderno e deep tech, mas ocasionalmente pode ser ouvido tocando qualquer coisa desde deep house old school, breakbeats, UK Garage ou o que quer que pareça certo no momento. Ele também gosta muito de molho de soja. Sério... muito. Tendo lançado em selos como Key Records, Late Ninety e Soulique Felas Music, ele tem um movimentado ano de 2021 pela frente, com lançamentos chegando em selos europeus e americanos.


Mathias is a young Uruguayan musician, DJ and producer. Born in Tacuarembó, based in Montevideo. 
Starting his journey in music as a guitarist with various musical roots ranging from skate punk, progressive metal, funk and jazz, he ended up finding in house music the coexistence of creative rhythmic structures and interesting harmonic content. 
As a DJ he likes to keep it housey and funky with ocassional sudden genre changes to spice things up. He mainly enjoys playing modern minimal house and deep tech but on ocassion can be heard playing anything from old school deep house, breakbeats, UK Garage or whatever feels right at the moment. He also likes soy sauce a lot. Really… a lot. 
Having released in imprints such as Key Records, Late Ninety and Soulique Felas Music he has a busy 2021 ahead with releases coming up in both European and American labels.

Etching a musical partnership that draws from the combined roots of IDM, house and techno, 
Mind Against are the Italian native but Berlin based project of Alessandro and Federico Fognini.

The biggest cliché of a “sound that’s hard to pin down”, is realer than gravity when it comes to Mind Against. They coax on psychedelic hooks of the 1980s and dance floor anthems bound traditionally to european soil. This backdrop makes for releases and performances that do well against any canvas.
