Coming to the closing of the festival season here at Forestdelic records, we are pleased to welcome yet another magnificent artist, collaborator and friend amongst us, Kliment Dichev. Following his album and various releases worldwide by his uniquely eclectic project by the name of Once Upon A Time, the newest and no-less surprising ‘Matters of Spirit’ ep is ready to meet the light of day.

We are growing unpatient to share with all of you what we have heard so far, and we are looking so very forward towards future releases from this act. Our scandinavian audio scientist has finally left his labs with the results of an extensive research on the impact of certain neurotransmitters upon human feelings and behavior. This time he utilized some new tools and procedures introducing huge doses of grooves in a controlled environment of steady levels of some illegal ingredients only known to him. While this stuff is still under a procedure of testing, it has been reported that exposures to it can induce states of joy, bliss and delight, so if you seek some experimental experience on your own, we have some supplies left of it - of course the principle being: first comes first served!

Dear fellow creatures, in these ambivalent times full of change and uncertainty, we are facing new states of our everyday modes that are asking us to adopt likewise measures. We are undergoing social distancing in order to unite in a common cause, we are undergoing inactivity in order to take action, and we are forgetting our differences in order to remember that we are all connected in a circle much larger than we can possibly grasp.

Aligning to this global situation, we have made a small attempt to reach out to all of you. We feel that we need to impose some special measures and in the same ambivalent manner we decided that a strict Forestdelic curfew needs to be announced all over your speakers. Everyday from 21:00 CET there will be a new recorded set from one of our native artists on our Soundcloud page for about an hour of positivity, joy and inspiration, and when movement in the area of fear, panic and despair will be strictly forbidden. All the rest of your daily time we kindly ask from everyone to be conscious, disciplined and caring for one another and exercise the general guidelines active in your respective areas.

The Octopus is an extra-terrestrial on planet Earth.
It is by far the closest thing we have to an alien apart from man.
It's highly intelligent with nine brains, three hearts & blue blood!

Like the soundscapes we create, the octopus is somewhat out of place amongst its fellow earthlings.
Psychedelic music sound design is a way of channeling something "alien" into this world.
It allows for unique freedom of sonic expression
With this project, I focused on variety and versatility. Creating each track in a different light
or as a different "color" to keep it engaging and nonlinear. It showcases some of my favorite producers & good friends
bringing you new age psychedelic productions in a range of different styles & approaches.

The secret gates of lights budged an inch and some shy sunbeams reached the long forgotten underworld. Hidden shadows started to peel away from the dark cave walls and began to stretch towards the white brightness. Growing, adapting to the ever more radiant spaces, responding to the tuneful stimuli, reproducing in a myriad of unexpected ways and finally reaching the entrance to the new world beyond the luminous surface: Forma Viva.
