Sukimashita - Empire Deep [Snippet]

Martin S., also formerly known as Klangform and Sukimashita, is spinning underground electronic music on vinyl since 1995 and has been around since the early days of the evolution of sound. His style is a mix of Detroit Techno with influences from Chicago House, Deep House and groovy funky positive beats.

Being cought by the pumping sound of an underground radio show (Steve Mason/BBC Radio) he developed and dived into the underground scene.  After throwing several small parties in his hometown near Hannover he started a regular club night with his friends Sebastian R. and DJ Skunk in 1997 (aka Rockwell & Landers). The creation of the Profi Panic Music Works company gave the group the opportunity to grow to more clubs in Hannover and distribute their message of house music around Germany.

Alongside producing own tracks he started to do live performances backed by an Akai MPC2000 and Doepfer gear. After gigs/live performances in underground clubs around Hannover, Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Bielefeld and radio shows like Evosonic Radio (1999) he moved to Düsseldorf where he founded a media agency which involves production of music, designing the web and conducting the art of programming unique software for international clients.

His success made him shift his focus away from spinning and producing music. However, being a music lover at heart, he revived his activity where he took the opportunity to occasionally play at events in Düsseldorf to spread his experience of underground house music to music lovers.
