Welcome to the new Chus & Ceballos podcast series, this is #RAWSESSIONS! No voice over, no jingles, no interruptions, just nonstop music mixed from the beginning to the end.

There's no better way to start than with our annual Marathon Set at the legendary Club Stereo in Montreal on January 1st, New Years Day. There are only a few places in the world were we can do this crazy thing of playing so many hours, and the reason why this happens is because Stereo is Magic. Stereo is a proper after-hours that doesn’t serve alcohol, so there is no bottle service, no confetti, no bullshit, the only reason to be there is for dancing, dancing till your feet hurt. The sound system is completely hand made by Tommy Piscardelli, the owner, and is one of the best in the world, which is closely followed by a great lighting system and a perfect DJ Booth. The monitors sound like a production studio, the booth is super comfortable and is the perfect height to the floor. The capacity of the club is proper, not too big, not too small, just intimate and cozy. It has also a mezzanine that create a second level where you have a whole view of what’s happening and of course a dancing spot too. But all this is useless without the most important element at a club, The Crowd! And let us tell you that Stereo can boast of having the most loyal and educated crowd in the world, one of the best we’ve ever seen. For more than 15 years Stereo has been a mandatory stop for the best DJ’s in the world.  A place made by music lovers for music lovers. Thats why we call it (((Home))).
So this is it, here we are, live, 9 continuous hours, a true trip into our sound.  Close your eyes and join us, welcome to Stereo in Stereo!

Michael Sullivan is an electronic DJ who has a passion for the New York dance scene. Residing in NY, he has been surrounded by many different types of music his entire life. At the age of 17, he found himself drawn to the unique sounds of house and techno that dominated NYC nightlife. Years later, through trial and error, Michael learned his way around the tables and made a name for himself as a burgeoning DJ in the local scene.

Michael Sullivan's sets consist of a variety of genres such as tribal, techno, and tech-house, mixed with off the cuff acapellas and edits that make the crowd want to hit the dancefloor. Growing up in the golden era of NYC afterhours, Michael looked upon many influences including Danny Tenaglia, Boris, Victor Calderone, Joseph Capriati, Adam Beyer and Nicole Moudaber just to name a few. 

Michael Sullivan's early DJ career started when he made his fateful debut at one of NYC's most legendary underground clubs, Pacha NYC. A music venue for those who knew, not only in New York, but across the globe. Michael has no hesitation on expanding his following and rocking the dance floor with his positive vibe and unmistakable NYC flare.
