We're proud to premiere "Gimme Dat" forthcoming Friday, March 31st on @swamp-step part of the “Sucio” ("Dirty", in Spanish), EP from Waylo (Denver, CO). This EP borrows influences from the Latin genres dembow and baile funk in a fresh, definitive work of modern dubstep.

At times playing into riddim, and even breaking free into drum & bass, "Sucio" is a continued exploration of 140 music for Waylo and featured friends Qilin, They Invade, and Salty. The track "Durty" even began life as moombahton, one of Waylo's personal favorite dance genres. There are so many fun pockets of sound and style yet to be incorporated into 140 culture, and Waylo is proud to release these tunes, as they stand out from the pack and offer an original perspective and flair to dubstep.
