 اللّهُـمَّ إِنِّي عَبْـدُكَ ابْنُ عَبْـدِكَ ابْنُ أَمَتِـكَ نَاصِيَتِي بِيَـدِكَ مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤكَ أَسْأَلُـكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّـيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ أِوْ أَنْزَلْتَـهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ  أَوْ عَلَّمْـتَهُ أَحَداً مِنْ خَلْقِـكَ أَوِ اسْتَـأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الغَيْـبِ عِنْـدَكَ أَنْ تَجْـعَلَ القُرْآنَ رَبِيـعَ قَلْبِـي وَنورَ صَـدْرِي وجَلَاءَ حُـزْنِي وذَهَابَ هَمِّـي


- The four great foundations that must be understood and implemented in order to reap the great reward mentioned in the ḥadīth:
    1. We must understand that we are slaves of Allāh.
    2. We must believe in and accept the decree of Allāh.
    3. We must believe in and understand the Beautiful Names and Perfect Attributes of Allāh.
    4. We must give importance to the Book of Allāh.

- The difference between choosing to be patient and being forced to be patient.
- The best medicine for the slave.
- The reason Allāh sends down calamities upon His slaves.
- The bitterness and sweetness of this life and the hereafter.
- The most beneficial and the most detrimental thing for the slave.
