The Interview Series’ guest is the Australian RYANOSAURUS (Zenon / Another Psyde / Kinematic). After the talk, you can listen to a showcase of Jurassic sounds, “a monstrous mix of phat basslines, glitchy soundscapes, emotive melody and a sly playfulness.” Tune in on 21st March 2014 Friday 8pm CET on the Trance channel.

The Ryanosaurus sound is a monstrous mix of phat basslines, glitchy soundscapes, emotive melody and a sly playfulness. The project walks the line between minimal progressive and full on psychedelic trance, with frequent forays into foreign styles and influences. 

The project begun as a place to release the solo work of Ryan Whare from Australia. With a drive for interesting but crisp and powerful production, the psychedelic trance genre was an instant attraction. After years of cutting his teeth on the local Sydney scene and writing with Mr Bill for his duo project Electrocado, Ryan begun releasing Ryanosaurus on the free music distributor Ektoplazm, and quickly built up a following for his unique style. He has now had releases on labels around the globe such as; Zenon, Iboga, Kinematic, Glitchy Tonic, Another Psyde, UP, Maia and Hass Records.

Expect plenty more in the future!

Phat festival was New Zealand's biggest drum and bass festival which annually hosted many of the worlds top names. I was lucky to be part of  the end of an era.

Zenon Records series continues with an exclusive mix by MILLIVOLT.

Millivolt is the DJ/producer project of artist Luk Schmid based in Switzerland.
In 2010, after several music projects, Luk established his Millivolt project which focuses on progressive, psychedelic, sinister, story telling, frisky, dark intelligent, zenonesque and heavyweight bassline music.

Last month he released his debut album “Philosofiction” to much critical acclaim on Zenon Records and he is currently one of the most sought after live acts of this respected label.
