Pac-Man,[a] originally called Puck Man in Japan, is a 1980 maze action video game developed and released by Namco for arcades. In North America, the game was released by Midway Manufacturing as part of its licensing agreement with Namco America.

Growing up in the 80s in the USA I would put a quarter into the Pac-Man Machine at an arcade called Shotgun Sams and have a blast. This is one of the fondest memories of my life.
