In the spirit of the summer season and warmer days ahead, I've put together a gas of a mix, good for peak performance... this is not a warm up.  I selected some records you've likely heard and others may be new to you, but together they'll get us up to get down; steppin' like if we are on the hot, sandy, stoney beaches of Eivissa... peaking.  At a higher BPM than previous tapes, "Hungry Eyes", Radio Sunshine Tape 10, is my seminal mix of the sound that most shaped my explorations into body music and dirty dancing.  Labels like Turbo, Citizen, DeeWee, Phantasy and artists like James Holden, Joe Goddard, Mutado Pintado, Red Axes, Felix Da Housecast, Miss Kittin and Tiga epitomize the sound that fascinated me most; this tape is a good representation of those experiences.  I open with Fatboy Slim's record, "Sunset," Jim Morrison's vocal is the hook and my muse forthwith, the tape takes off from there.  It was a nostalgic project for me to curate these tracks... I hope they take you to a special place too.

Recorded live at Cherry Lounge in Seattle. This set required an entirely new level of crate digging and intention for me, as this is not my usual genre wheelhouse. It was both challenging and exciting, and I'm super proud of the final result. Huge shoutout to The Silk Road for having me!

Recess is a long time advocate for Underground Dance Music and community building in the Northwest.  As a dj, Recess always brings a fresh perspective to the decks with an array of sounds and textures that ranges from techno to house, tribal, electro, disco, and more.  He melds underground classics with hard to find electronic gems keeping each set unique and one of a kind. 
His renowned efforts with Shameless Productions have pushed the envelope over the years in the PNW, introducing our community to fresh new talent while maintaining diverse line ups, safe environments, and everything else to help keep our underground  lovely & weird <3 . Seattle doesn’t have it’s edge without the efforts of Recess and the Shameless family.  
We were fortunate to have him make a special (and rare January ) appearance for the first Flammable of 2019 and drop a beautiful set that would be described as a heartfelt love note to Flammable Sundays.  Thank you Dan!

California based SUMMER GOODTIME is an audible collage artist focused on psychedelic-world-music, a professional knob twiddler, pixel pusher, event producer and experience designer.  They paved their way into the music business by publishing a magazine about the scenes, throwing parties, establishing a venue, producing concerts and music festivals.  The audiences’ enjoyment of these experiences was undeniable, demand quickly grew and so did their passion for creating these offerings for others' pleasures.  

A regular in the West Coast underground music scene, SUMMER GOODTIME has been given slots alongside legends like Matthew Dear, John Tallobot, Heidi Lawden and Dave P to name a few they most look up to.   Over the years they’ve had thousands of people up and on their feet dancing, sharing unforgettable experiences together.

Passionate about championing the power of unity and variety, SUMMER GOODTIME was originally part of Pacific Festival – a music festival created to support and promote all artists.  Since then they have gone on to found the all inclusive Casa Bar, having become aware of the desperate need to tackle the issue of inclusion within nightlife.  

Their logo is called "Unity and Variety," developed upon three pillars: connectedness, inter-relations, and harmony, the organic shapes representing variety and the geometric shapes representing unity, together as one the form is intended to convey balance and ascendance.
