Summer Melody continues our Intertwines EP series, a monthly showcase of new and upcoming artists in a pair of two, and starting their own fusion towards the label. The second installment includes two different progressive tracks from two artists hailing from Ukraine and France respectively.

It's been a while for us to introduce the melodic progressive community with a brand new name, after ending our Summer Melodies compilation series. We are glad to have Codema to the label with the wonderful track Sundown. An ode to the classic balearic and melodic progressive sounds, the track captures the sunset moment by the coast, with 80s-inspired pad and synths, delicate guitar melodies and trance-blended pluck chords laying across the whole track.

The other side of this release is another label debut, and similar to the artists in the previous installment, jumping between the genres of trance and progressive. Previously been releasing on Sunstate, D.Max, Tecnomind, Redux, Azure, Progressive Vibes, just to name a few, we welcome Nakhiya with the trance-inspired Samoa. Describing the village above water scenery through his layered bassline and flowing melodies, this track provides dreamy vibes yet tribal at the same time.

Included into Part 2 of our ½ Decade: A 5-Year Retrospective compilation as an exclusive remix, we would be having the remixes showcased in full. Ending the reworks showcase with the wonderful rework by Skua, on Andrew Frenir's Nobody Like You.

As a label highlight previously, Andrew Frenir's upbeat melodic track Nobody Like You was released on Summer Melodies Vol.4 on January 2020, and with prog-trance remixes by T Davids and Vincent Zauhar on October the same year. Delivering another approach to the original, we welcome back label co-owner of Emergent Music, Skua on the remix, who has been releasing on PHW, Perplexity, Synth Collective, Soluna and Monstercat Silk, and appeared on Summer Melody previously. Skua's remix is an atmospheric style of melodic house, and extracting the open and free feeling of the original, slightly reconstructed the melody and infused into the whole remix with his own style.

Introducing Marnix Meinster to the sun-drenched atmosphere of balearic progressive. And what a fabulous start for this debuting artist! A Chicane influenced “Afternoon Sun” sets the frolicsome tone of this blissful compilation. From our sister label Droid9 debuts Albert Klein with “Balmy Nights,” a frisky, balearic nightclub groover. Next, DTALM and Sixthsense concoct a melodic potion in the form of an audible exotic “Love Melody.” What’s not to fall in love with the beautiful enchantment of the Balearic islands? Tis’ the season for even more pensive moods, reflective thoughts, and nonchalant reverie with our third remixed album. We are delighted to present eight fabulous remixed tracks by an all-star ensemble, which includes label veterans, returnees but features three prominent names in melodic progressive: Roald Velden, Greg Murray, and Rezwan Khan.

UK’s G Coulter, an alias of Greg Murray, a previously featured artist on Anjunabeats, guest stars on our imprint with his luscious “Early Mix” of Astrevea’s 6 A.M. Fiben, continues making headways with his progressive sound as he reinterprets L_DG’s “It’s Complicated,” giving it more of a Shingo Nakamura shine to an already fabulous track. Held in high regard in the progressive scene is the sensational melodic cavalier Roald Velden. With his remix of AKI Amano’s “Mellow Vibes,” Velden shows why he is a boss. New York’s Rezwan Khan has an impressive music resume and his rendition of Tom Bro’s “Panorama” is a testament to his skills. Ron with Leeds has rightfully earned success on the Euphonic Label, and their remix of “The Way We Were” shows the care and precision one could expect on such a reputable label. Ciree is a melodic Rumpelstiltskin who seems to spin any track he remixes into gold. Coincidentally, gold is one of Earth’s “Elements.” Rainbow Addict rejoins forces with us and provides a pleasant contrast to Joe Schaeffer’s ethereal “Ise.” Numedian is nailing the deep progressive riffs of the “Reef” with his burgeoning Universal Dream sound that’s bridging the deep and crisp ends of melodic progressive.
