North Sunset - Summer Walk (Markus Hakala Remix) [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Arguably one of Nueva's most anticipated releases since it's inception a year and half ago, Fusion F and Come T's "Blue River" along with high profile remixes from Jody Wisternoff, Darin Epsilon and Luke Fair is poised to be in your top 10 for a long time.  Let's get to it shall we!

If you remember Fusion F and Come T's last contribution to Nueva ("Begin Now"), this original is no less a progressive masterpiece, and we don't throw those praises out lightly.  "Blue River" infuses an early night sound with a melodic Ibiza undertone.  Then the soft wood tones take over making this one of the grooviest Nueva releases in recent memory.  What kills us is the melancholic melody added later and then again when everything seamlessly congregates in one grand epicenter of music!

How do you introduce this next artist without doing him justice?  When you can say Jody Wistenoff is involved with anything, from in person to the productions, to his live sets...count yourself lucky!  Nueva is extremely proud to be involved with such a  class act as he gives "Blue River" his best "Cold Drink, Hot Girl" treatment and creates an instant classic.

One of the U.S.'s best exports, Darin Epsilon continues to raise the bar for himself as he produces another fine peice of music for Nueva.  His remix is decidedly more 3am than 11pm and we quite like that, making this a superb track through and through!

If you can believe it, Nueva is proud to debut another legend in his own right and personal progressive hero of ours in Canadian Luke Fair.  Taking "Blue River" into deep house territory he churns out a percussion adventure with fantastically well placed string stabs giving this release truly something for everyone!

After a couple collaborative efforts and a single on our seasonal compilation, he returns on Synth with a scorcher solo three-tracker that will delight the community and further establish his name amongst the greats. Having graced the scene since 2012, the Zimbabwean born artist has left his mark on the progressive world with his unique sound, the rolling arpeggios, the syncopated chord progressions, the danceable basslines and the euphoric melodies. Always pushing the envelope, the new 'Elysian Visions' EP is , sonically, everything Alex has built up as his trademark style and more, the sun-drenched atmosphere and top-down cruising vibes.

We are delighted to welcome Progressive Initiations, Simon Fischer from Germany to Progressive Dreams. He is better known from his Mindsoundscapes project where he has released uplifting trance for many years. Progressive Initiations is Simon's debut into our Melodic scene and what a fine way to do this with such a wonderful melodic progressive release.

Pathfinders is a beautiful track full of real emotion and melodic melodies that really sound great and take you away. Sounds of the summer in a melodic piece. 

We welcome back Firas Tarhini again who delivers a slick production with top quality sound design bursting through and beautiful pluck sounds throughout, its a great remix. 

Mark Digital takes up remix duties yet again and delivers his signature sound with great results. This is a full on club sounding track, packed with energy and is another fine remix of this pack. 

Finally we have a different style remix from Simon, under the alias Nonlinear Endorphine. Originally Simon contacted Shane Collins, owner and founder of Progressive Dreams and DJ at MusicShaneCollins because of a DJ set that Shane uploaded many years ago that Simon really fell in love with. It was called A Progressive Journey 16 and has some very unique sounding tracks in it, and for a period of time the music released was really special but the music evolved very quickly and we never heard music like this released again, until now. 

So in this final remix, Simon does a great job at recreating that sound once again and If people take to it then whats to say we won't keep releasing more like this again.
