After the 5-Year milestone back in the end of April, Summer Melody presents the new annual Best Of compilation of 2023! Mixed and compiled by our label's own myni8hte, this compilation features 20 tracks from various uprising and talented artists, which have been enjoyed in the past year.

The past year of 2023 emerged several new release formats, including the Intertwines series, Artist Collection compilations, as well as the celebration with the 5-Year Retrospective compilations and brand new reworks. The year also marks the end of Summer Melodies compilation series, as well as the release of another artist album. With those achievements, Best Of 2023 concludes another year of releases on Summer Melody, and we hope you could enjoy this wonderful mix and compilation!

Starting the brand new year of 2024, Summer Melody welcomes the melodic veteran UK-based Tristan Armes, with the wonderful 2-track EP Pilgrim!

Tristan Armes has previous remixed Mekao, Caira and Leonety respectively for the label, and we are overjoyed to see him back with an original EP debut on Summer Melody. Starting with the title track, featured on his own guest mix last year as an ID, Pilgrim features his own signature and warming sensation with the beautiful piano melodies and moving chords, in the same line of vibes to his previous tracks Halcyon and Farplane.

On the other hand, the second track Icarus provides another melodic experience. With the vibes are on par to his previous tracks Lights and Only Now, the track combines the soothing and melodic elements, makes it mesmerising as similar to the butterfly itself - the common blue Icarus, slightly fragile within the diversity of nature yet beautiful with its blue variety.

We hope you enjoy this wonderful first 2024 release of Summer Melody, with the wonderful EP debut from Tristan Armes!

Baud Rate has been putting his name up on labels such as Sunwaves Digital, Alter Ego Progressive and Soluna Music, as well as on NuHouse. Starting his year of 2024, this 2-track EP provides a mark and dedicates to two different beautiful sceneries: The mountains of Appalachia and the coast of Dubrovnik. Connecting the two different places is his own style of melodic progressive: an atmospheric and spacious touch to the soft drum beat, and melodies flowing through the tracks.
