I feel like this is when I really decided to embrace my electronic influences and try to take the standard post-rock sound into further areas than just trying to mimic a band doing the prolonged tension / release (which I admittedly love).

This set was created for an all electronic show that I played with James & Evander and Butterfly Bones. I created this to be different from my usual shows. No guitar, no pedals, no amp on this. I chopped up a bunch of existing guitar samples and did the show by button mashing and knob tweaking.

Slap / Chop Set (Live May 25th, 2010)

Back in 2009 I was asked to do a live DJ set. I had never done anything like that at the time, so I created a set that took my music and overlaid all the MCs and vocalists I would love to make music with. Kind of my own dream team of backpack hip-hop, indie, and some bullshit pop vocalists.
