As a label that’s been growing for just over five years now, there are certain artists who’ve shaped our journey long before we even knew we’d start one. DJ Caspa @tundecas41 is one of those djs. We’ve been listening to his sets for more than a decade, long before the idea of launching this podcast series was even a thought. And if there’s one thing that’s stayed consistent all these years, it’s the sheer quality of what he delivers. But Caspa’s story runs even deeper. He picked up mixing at around the young age of 16, and from that moment on, music became a life path. Growing up during the acid house and Balearic era, the spark was lit early. His first love was Jungle Music and like any true selector, his vinyl collection exploded fast. He chased fresh sounds relentlessly, from early radio sessions in the '90s on stations like Weekend Rush, Pressure FM, Rinse FM, Unknown FM, Deja Vu, and Magic FM, all the way through to building one of the most respected Sunday shows on Rinse FM itself. Caspa lived through multiple waves of dance music, growing to a seasoned club DJ. He’s played up and down the UK and regularly traveled abroad. The sound on this podcast is 100% unreleased music from his friends in the scene. In addition to his club and radio legacy, DJ Caspa also curates his own acclaimed podcast series Upfront & Personal, known for hosting high-calibre guests such as Chris Stussy, Mr G, Djoko, Josh Butler, Anotr, Sidney Charles, Larry da Kat and many more. Mellow piano opens up an emotional scene with the company of rain and angelic vocals.
The actual storm hasn't arrived yet, but we can slowly see it coming. The piano turns into a deep bass with a surge of electricity as synth melodies are slowly showing up. 
Just before the storm hits us with everything, a minute of calmness overtakes us. Following the piano with orchestral strings and toms intensifies the calmness, transforming it into the actual storm. 
Organic drums and a surge of synths accompany us through the thunderstorm as it is slowly moving on and the mellow piano is synchronising with the Sun starting to break through the clouds.

One of the most important projects for my warrior friend battling cancer. Together we worked on this release where I would play tracks and watching Alok's responses to the music with delight. Born in India from humble beginning, Alok is one of the most gentlest souls I've ever met, with are warmth that radiates from his heart and touches souls around him. I am fortunate to call him my friend and thank you for working on this project with me!
